This place feels like a typical bar and grill... Familiar menu, decor and music. Unfortunately my food was also very ordinary. At a minimum, a bar and grill should serve a good burger. My burger was over cooked, the patty was much smaller than the bun and I'm assuming it was not fresh beef. It looked and tasted like it was preformed and previously frozen. I opted for tots instead of fries. The tots were extra crispy and had a fishy taste... Probably cooked them in the same oil they use for fish and chips. The food was plated well and the service was good.
Extremely disappointed. Our first time going in to eat. We saw the signs saying to order at bar then seat yourself, so we waited by the bar to order. Eventually after a while the lady behind the bar finally asks if we need a menu. I asked if I could order a side salad, if they had that and I was told yes. Side salad: Not full or half, side. We ordered and sat down. 50 minutes later we get our food. Not sure why we waited 50 minutes (everyone else had their food already -Inside) but during that time no one came over to ask if we needed any drink refills or would care for an appetizer during the wait. Got our food and my salad was huge. My husbands was small (like the side salad I had wanted)….a lady came by at one point and quietly took on of our plates that still had food on it, didn’t ask if we were done. Still no one asked about drinks or napkins or anything. This comment isn’t going to accurately portray the experience we had but it was so disappointing. Sadly, we are not ever going back.
Fantastic experience, instead of waiting to be seated after whoever previously arrived before us, Erika that was bartending at the time took our drink orders and menu orders before getting our seat. We got our food and second order of drinks in an extremely efficient fashion, that I just have to come here again. Through the countless bars and restraints I've been to this has been the most homely and welcoming one with GREAT service! Definitely recommend BCC with bacon, and the Swiss burgers.Completely blew me away with the outdoor sitting right next to 2 gas heaters in gravel bed holders. Really sets the mood, and live music every Fridays &Saturdays!
We always have such a great experience at the Brick House! From the food and drinks to the service, these guys are the best and will do anything to make sure you have a good time!
Great service. Nice hard cider selection, I recommend blackberry pear. The jalapeño burger is SO good!
First time here! Service was great and food was delicious! Broccoli was seasoned to perfection and steak was meaty with just the right amount of fat!
Beer is beer. Hard to go wrong there. Business is clean and nice. I've always like this building. Service good. Food was decent. I had the mushroom swiss. It was pretty bland IMO. But that is typical for a lot of burgers in this area. Proper seasoning would make a world of difference.
Another great restaurant in town. Right now during COVID waiting for the food to come out takes a little while - but I completely understand. Staff is nice, and the outdoor seating next to the fire pits is real nice. Keep up the good work ?
First time here . Really enjoyed everything we had to eat and absolutely loved my blackberry/ pear cider. The fried green beans are the best I had so far, and the shrimp were right behind it !!
Living two blocks away is a blessing and a curse, hahahaha!The staff is always personable and chatty! Brews always cold, tap or bottle!Atmosphere has changed since it was Moon Dogs Too but familiar faces are still welcoming!My is family here from Louisiana and I told them I would bring them to a good spot today and here we are.They now have another story to tell!
