I ordered the biscuits and gravy through a delivery service as the place was opening for the day. The biscuit was hard, the “sausage” gravy had hardly any sausage in it, and the whole meal had a funny bitter aftertaste. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and his review was “meh.” None of the food was worth the price we paid and our first impression was not worth going back for a second.
I would highly recommend eating at this place. The atmosphere was pleasing to the eye. The establishment was clean and heart warming, although I did not use the restroom facilities, so I cannot talk to that portion. The staff was totally awesome! Sunny and Heather plays a huge part of making that restaurant successful (Especially Sunny). At first, I thought she was the owner of the restaurant. She would walk around the tables consistently, asking the customers if everything was okay. She even dropped by our table and commented on my attire. She already knew that I was a little discourage about the tardiness of how long it took to receive our food and she was very apologetic for that little mishap. You can tell, she does care about the people who eat there and for the establishment’s reputation. She is a prime example of what excellent customer service is all about. Heather was amazing too; she was our server! She was polite and friendly. You can tell, it was important to her that she met our needs. As for the food? I did not leave the table hungry! The burger I ate was good. The food was hot and the vanilla milk shake was cold. The price of the food was not bad at all! As for the little mishap I encountered, it wasn’t nothing to rate this establishment down. One must remember, we sometimes encounter issues and that is okay. Overall, the food and service exceeded my expectations! I will definitely return - rumour has it - this place serves up one killer breakfast menu - A MUST TRY! Alan (the owner) — keep your staff! They are awesome!
Biscuits and Gravy. My personal favorite. The staff is eager to help customers home a pleasant experience. I appreciate the effort.
My son and I had lunch at Alan's on a busy Sunday afternoon. They were prompt to seat us and serve drinks. They explained they were busy and it would be a bit of a wait, but we were happy to stay and visit. We had the omelet and the pancake breakfast and both were delicious. Service was great, food was so good. We can't wait to go back! Give them a try they are a hidden gem!
Food was good but nothing to rave about. We had burgers and fries. Burgers were fresh and fries were crispy. Took forever to get our orders taken because server couldn’t remember if she took our orders(20-25 mins later.)and to get our food was about same amount of time or longer… because the order got lost in the shuffle in the back. But considering everyone is struggling to find help I appreciate the young lady for being there. She will get better in time. :)

We love coming here and the food is amazing no matter what you have. If you like hot chocolate hey have amazing Belgian hot chocolate and amazing food no matter what you try!! Amazing people who work there as well! Can't say enough good things about this place, this has become our date day or Sunday with the family going to lunch place!

Not very busy on a Friday night. Food was in my hand in 30 minutes. Not bad for a family meal of 3 with not many staff on hand at the time. The burgers were average but the fries were crispy and delightful. The mango smoothie had fresh mango taste and creamy. A cozy atmosphere a calm and simple diner. I look forward to breakfast someday.
I got a chocolate shake for my son, that is his drink in the photo, I also got a Java chip frappé, an it looks the same had his drink, just thick layers of chocolate ( made for looks ) the lady said, I told her if I knew this is how she was going to make it I would have told her no. Because I DID NOT ask for extra chocolate. My advise to you guys is don’t do extra anything with out talking to the customer first. On a second note, the Java chip frappé wasn’t good at all, it has no taste to it at all, just plain coffee, with chips in it, I have had Java chip before not from here, but this had to be the worst one yet i have ever tasted. Also back to the extra crazy amount of chocolate put in both drinks, Not everyone wants extra chocolate in their drinks!! The only reason I’m giving a three star is because I also ordered fries and clam chowder, that was the only good out of my order. Your employee were nice, but they didn’t say or show that they would even want to remake the drink. Their reaction/vibe I got from the lady was this is how we made it so this is what you get. Or i had to ask her, which i should have to, she should have know. By the way of me even looking at the drink, I TOLD HER that if I knew you were going to make my drink this way, I would have told you, no extra, youd think that would click in your head to remake it cuz OBVIOUSLY that’s not what I asked for.
