Tried to get Happy Hr 1/2 off, downloaded the app, looks cool if it worked, it didn't. At this point we ask at the drive through if they're having issues with the app and they replied I don't know I'm not a manager, so we asked if we could order 1/2 off our order they said I am not a manager, but drinks are happy hr price. Long story short our 4 drink order was screwed up not once but twice and that made it unhappy hr. Much better apps that work and better service.
Updated review from experience on 4/2/22. Generally, I love this place. The last time I was in, I had the most frustrating experience. I did a mobile order as usual, parked in a spot, entered the stall number, finalized on the app and waited. 15 minutes later, I had noticed all cars leave the drive through, and only about 3 cars parked in stalls on the other side of the parking lot. So I pressed the red button and asked about my order. They told me, oh it looks like your order was bumped, sorry they'll be right out. 10 minutes later, and having watched more people come and go through the drive through, still no drinks, so I pressed the button again to ask about my order. They totally ignored me and canceled my request. I pressed it again. They ignored me again and my screen said "name of an employee is bringing your order." Still nothing. Then I saw two more employees arrive and go in. I pressed the button again and one of the new employees asked if he could take my order. I explained my situation and he simply said well I just got here so I don't know anything about that. I asked if he could find someone who did so I could get my 2 drinks I'd paid for and be on my way. He didn't answer. About 5 minutes later, a girl finally walked out with my order. I mentioned that 30 minutes for 2 drinks was a little unreasonable. Rather than apologizing or offering anything as compensation she just defensively said that she was on headset so it wasn't her job. I said that's not my fault, and she defensively said well "that's not MY fault either!" So rude. How about I'm so sorry for the inconvenience? Anything? I asked to talk to a manager and she said there wasn't one. What? You don't have a manager? She says well there's a shift manager. Do you want me to get them? Absolutely rude and unprofessional. I had already wasted 38 minutes there for an order of 2 drinks, so I just said not right now, I'll call later. I normally love this place, but this experience has left me so frustrated. The staff needs a reminder about how to treat customers.
If i could give it a 0 stars i would whoever you have working nights is making you lose money i tried giving it another chance but this is the second time super disappointed i ordered two bacon on bacon and all i got was two patties with bacon on the top no lettuce or tomato as shows on picture. You need to hire someone who has pride in their cooking wven the fries were super dry and tasted awful! The only thing that was good was the soda. Seriously whoever is working at 10:30 pm there is ruining your business.
About half of the stalls were blocked off. Not a big deal. Waited in one of the open stalls for about 10 minutes. Nobody answered. Decided to just go through the drive through. Waited there for about 5 minutes. Nobody ever said anything. Drove to the jack in the box next door. Great service, great food. Ate the food in the parking lot so we could watch and see if anybody actually got any food from sonic. Ate our food in about 30 minutes and nobody got their order taken the whole time. Now queue the generic response from management
I'm shocked at how bad the Burden Sonic service is now. They used to be great. Fast and knowledgeable, caring. That was not my experience tonight.I asked what the difference was between the SuperSonic and the Ultimate Meat and Cheese burrito and the gal on the speaker said, "I have no idea." Maybe instead of saying that you could say, "Let me find out." It wouldn't hurt to be a little more professional.So there's that. But also, the last few months you've gotten so slow. What happened? Do better. All that being said, food is still pretty good.
Waste of money and time AGAIN! I never really go to sonic because something is always wrong or cold. My fries were hard and cold my chicken tenders were as dark as my cheeseburger! Nasty change your oil.They don’t know how to do their job correctly if you need help running this place let me know I can show you how it’s done.
My friends and I had went to sonic to get milkshakes. The person told us that the machine was closed for the night even tho they sell half price milkshakes until midnight. While we wait in line, we saw the person at the window with milkshakes and handing milkshakes to the person in front of us. This is not the first time they have done this to my friends and I. The first time, I order French toast sticks and they gave me a burger instead. Highly DO NOT recommend this location. They are rude, liars, and disrespectful. They need to learn what customer service and respect.
We placed an order online, put down how we wanted the burger. They totally messed up 1 of 2 orders. We requested them to fixed the burger as there is an allergy to a sauce. All we got was rudeness, our time being completely wasted, and never getting the correct burger. So after 2 hours of sitting there trying to fix the 1 order, talk to the manager and we got nowhere. Not a good Sonic to go to!
AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT EAT ANYWHERE ELSE!! you have been warned. I say this from personal experience after sitting at the drive through for half hour and my order was all messed up. My fries literally were garbage. The BK across rd 68 is decent really most of the places around there are not bad but wow will not be back to that sonic.
So much wrong. I'm guessing a combination of overworked staff, on-line ordering, and local ownership that wants to collect money without getting their hands dirty working in the restaurant. If you don't mind being cut off going into dive-thru by someone coming in the exit, waiting a couple minutes to have your order taken when you get to the drive-thru, speaker, having someone take your order that seemed like they really didn't have time for you, leaving the speaker and realizing there are 3 cars ahead of you that must have done on-line ordering, then when you finally get to the window you pay and get your food only to wait for 10 or more minutes for your shakes; then Sonic is your place. If you are not looking to spend 30 minutes in drive-thru to get a burger, an order of onion rings, and 3 shakes then I'd avoid Sonic.
