The food and ambiance were very nice. The park across the street is beautiful. The receptionist greeted me with a smile. The Dungeness crab eggs Benedict with crispy hash browns were to die for. The stuffed French toast was sinfully delicious. The crunchy bits of brown sugar on top was amazing. Their bloody Mary was excellent and slightly spicy in the best way. I will definitely be coming back.

I loved the brunch menus at a weekend, servers were very friendly and nicely serving us.

Fantastic meal. The baked oyster dish we started with was perhaps the best baked oyster dishes I've ever had. The New York strip was very good, but I think my wife's pork chop with Sweet Potato mash was even better. The service was excellent as well. We'll be back!

Made a reservation for Easter at 2pm. Arrived and hostess greets you by almost being annoyed that you are there. No smile no Happy Easter. This is the second time we have been there and the hostess is not at all friendly. Then she happily informed us that we missed brunch and dinner is not till 4 so we have the happy hour menu !! She actually seemed happy to let us know Easter is now ruined. Ridiculous that on a holiday the would not have a full menu the whole day or let people know. Like I said we have eaten here before and the food is average …. Definitely not good enough to ever be that snobby or unfriendly.

Food A+ perfectly cooked generous 12oz NY steak & Blackened rockfish! Flavor excellent on all sides. Server A+, this was our first visit and Victoria helped with all our questions like family. After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.

Tiffiany, our server, was friendly and helpful with menu item choices. The food was divine! Every tapa we ordered was loved by everyone at our table! We will be back for more wine and food!

We just moved to the area and this was our first dining experience in Olympia in years. The food was incredible and the back patio is great. The service staff was also super friendly and helpful. Definitely going to be a regular spot for us. Also, the best carrot cake I've had in many years and carrot cake is my favorite dessert so that is a must try.

5 Star dining experience at the Octapas Cafe. We chose to get an assortment of their tapas and a bottle of wine. Our waiter, Matt, was incredibly kind, engaging and helpful (as we are traveling through the area). Hands down some of the best oysters we’ve ever had! Service was fast, food was prepared to perfection and great ambiance. When we’re back in Olympia, we will definitely be going to Octapas Cafe!

This was the first time I went to Octapas and it was surprisingly delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and very open. The wait staff were incredibly friend. The brunch, a classic breakfast, tasted delicious. The hash browns were saltier than I cared. Even so, it was a satisfying experience.
