Tried on a whim- not good! I love banh mi but this was really bad. The pork slices were grey and very dry, there was a tiny bit of veg, and to top it off, there was a hair inside the sandwich wrapper. I should have known better when I went in and it was generally unclean but it had more than 4 stars so....? I don't know who is giving good reviews but they have different standards than I!
I haven't been to this restaurant since their old location which was shared with AA.I ordered a sandwich and it was a small had very little meat on it, the cilantro wasn't cut that well, unless that was intentional.I also ordered two dumplings, both of which still had a thin wax paper at the bottom cooked into the dumpling and I tried to peel them off which took out nearly the whole bottom of the dumpling. It ruined my experience honestly.I did get the food quick though, I got there at like 6:15 and they made it in under 10 minutes.
We traveled from Seattle to Portland, and stopped by for a quick bite. I'm a bit fooled by the good reviews.We ordered Vietnamese coffee, the taste is artificial exactly like the instant coffee you get for several cents. The bread tasted old.
The people of Olympia deserve better banh mi, this is a glorified school lunch ham sandwich.

Absolutely love this place. The owner and his wife are so friendly, feels like family going in. Reasonably priced, fresh made food. Go in hungry and leave full.

OMG! This is one of the best hidden secrets in downtown Olympia. It doesn't look like to much on the outside but oh how sweet it is inside. The owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Just so accommodating and friendly.And my go to sandwich is the Coconut Chicken. It is top 5 in Olympia easy maybe better. Just so much flavor and it is like 5 bucks with tax. Go here and get one and I guarantee you will love it!
The food awesome!! I got the pineapple ? chicken ? fried rice ? and Bahn Mi curry and coconut ? chicken sandwich. It was delicious.I def recommend. Prices are good great customer service and friendly
