Only one person in front of me picking up her to go order. Placed my order and got my drink. Walked up to 2 different tables that were dirty. While I was looking for a place to eat my sandwich came out of the kitchen. I was shocked, so I took the first available table that was not dirty. Was able to look out the window and see a Subway Sandwich location across the street. Really fresh bread and the meat was fresh and not pressed meat. Only gave a 4 star due to the dirty tables. Otherwisewas great sandwich!
May 9, 2022 5:09 pm- Walked into Meconi's Olympia ord 3 subs (for 1, stressed, asked please No mayo on Italian(Allergies), *girl (KALINA C) stared/said nothing, I paid- Receipt indicates correct order- That evening, 2 subs fair, *Italian w/lots of mayoMay 10, 2022 6:15 pm- Returned t/Meconis, same young girl, I tell her issue, req refund [Edit addition- I provided uneaten Italian sub]- *Girl (still in same half dead/awake/I don't give a crap state) said only "I can't do anything...I can take your name and phone number"- *She says nothing else, I have to ask Why my name/ph? She replies "Mgr ('Dan') who is female will call me"- Still pulling teeth, I ask what will Dan do? She replied "I think she will either give you a credit or offer to remake the sandwich" and "I assume she will be in tomorrow"- I say t/her "No apology? You understand I drove back here +my time..." and "That is poor customer service"- She says with a smirk "Have a nice day sir" and turns awayMeconi's Olympia Owners / Mgrs- KALINA C was flat out rude and disrespectful.
I love the combo. Been eating at Meconi's since the 80s when half a sandwich was $2.50!!! The little red house is gone, but the quality hasn't left.
A very solid sandwich. I recommend the Italian. And being open an hour earlier than most places in Olympia is a huge bonus.
Best sandwich EVER!! The smell as you walk in is intoxicating! Delicious! I will drive 40 minutes for this!!!
Great fast friendly service. In and out with my called in order within 10 mins. Sandwich quality is is great for the price.
Not impressed at all, sadly I gave in after a few years of driving by the Olympia location and decided to grab lunch. The Philly sucked and was dry. Not sure where they learned to make a Philly but it clearly wasn't anywhere authentic. Not to mention I’ve never seen a Philly the same size as a hotdog bun. Also, $20 for a small bottle of water and 1 sandwich isn’t worth it for 1 persons lunch. Take your hard earned money else where. There are plenty of better food places in downtown that cost less money and have better quality food.
Food was good but i almost left as the girl taking our order rolled her eyes and acted like it was a huge inconvenience that we were here to order. I smiled and said hello and she didn’t respond and continued rolling her eyes. I heard them say her name as tabitha I believe! We are first timers and doubt we will come back after feeling like we weren’t wanted and were bothersome. I wanted to be so excited but it’s hard when bad attitudes in the front ruin businesses. Maybe some training? Also the ranch was clearly old, it had see through dried drippings all around it

I had a bad experience with Meconis after being a regular customer for many years. I ordered a takeout order and paid for it over the phone, when I got there I had forgot a mask and they refused to put the food out side on the curb or refund my money.Ill never go back after their nasty attitude.
