The place has a good vibe. Respectful employees. Customers are mostly locals. Its Obvious this place has a good reputation. I been there twice in 3 days. Very busy on one of visits. Biscuits & gravy is delish. Belgium waffle was yummy.
Well let me say this first. Their breakfast are the best thing around the county. Their fish & chips used to be the best in all of the Olympic US 101 loop. But since COVID they are no longer fresh cut cod . They look smaller and maybe frozen. But their fries still rock. Hopefully soon we will get the fresh cod and the all you can eat fish & chips.
Yeah this place should be #1 in that area ? food was so good and plentiful? my brother and I are large men and couldn't finish our breakfast!
Ordered take out. Friendly greeting when walking in, food was ready on time, got food home was still hot, biscutts and gravy was tasty. Will definitely be back.
The cooking was moderately spot on for a party of three on a very very busy Sunday afternoon. The staff were helpful too despite the crowd around the door to get in. The menu had variety of a lot of typical Diner menu faire and even a few local renditions of things.What keeps me from a 5 star however is their choice of ingredients. The cooking I felt was actually held back by ingredients that weren’t quite up to par. Which is unfortunate for a business that would otherwise be a paragon of its type in its area.
The staff was amazing and food was yummy. I went with my 1 year old and our waiter was amazing and super nice. Food came out hot.

EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE! What a wonderful place to stop and grab breakfast on our road trip to Bend, Oregon. It's your best bet in grabbing some freshly cooked food at reasonable pricing with a downhome attitude and appreciation for cleanliness and hospitality. The ladies taking care of the patrons are truly caring and by the number of locals that dropped in while we were there, you can tell this is go-to for a great number of them. On our next run through Olympia we will be certain to stop and enjoy the experience all over again!!! Thank you "Martin Way Diner", you made us smile!
Excellent breakfast. We arrived at 6:45 am and by 6:55am there were already 5 groups waiting at the door. You know it has to be worth the wait, lucky we waited. My son had the full county fried steak meal! I had several bites and the reviews are right, the gravy is great. I had the oysters, but I wish I had the 1/2 order of the country fried steak!
