Hot stone is the best restaurant in Olympia! I come here when ever I can to get food. I’ve tried most of the things on the menu and I can say I haven’t had anything that was bad. The dumpling soup and beef bulgogi are my top favorites. The waitress is always very kind and it’s a very welcoming restaurant! Recommend to anyone to come here and eat
Cute korean spot in downtown Olympia. Food tasted good, small but perfect assortment of banchan to accompany the main dish. I ordered a bulgolgi bibimbap in a hot stone, but there was some confusion and I ended up with just bulgogi and rice in a hot stone. Still yummy but missed the veggies. The hot stone wasn't horrible enough to sear the rice, but other wise this was great. A fun little spot that is great a casual date, or meal with friends. It's steps away from a park so you can walk off the meal.
Very good food but a little pricey. I won’t say I know the competitions prices but compared to other restaurants the food is pricey. It cost us $77 for 3 people. We enjoyed the food and had left overs. We will be visiting again infrequently.
Great food with a wonderful owner older lady that helped serve us. Food was delicious and plenty most of us could not finish it and took it back with us. Only reason one star down, she was too busy to make us bubble tea on time. I guess they are short on help. My kids loved it so did my wife.
This place was great, with pretty good bubble tea, too. The seafood bi bim bap tasted fresh and was perfectly spicy. I had the spicy pork bulgogi, and it was the best I’d ever had. Make sure you ask for extra rice, though. Speaking of which, the service was friendly and timely, and the hostess/waitress was very charming. She also looked like Edna Mode which is pretty cool. Will definitely be back.
The food is amazing, I don't have any bad reviews about the food here. BUT, the customer service is SUPER SUPER HORRIBLE. If you want to try out authentic korean food, have a strong mental health and don't care your waitress' attitude, come try this restaurant.My group visited this restaurant and the lady waitress here ruined our mood. She asked for order aggressively, served the plates roughly and even when we were eating, the sound she cleaned the plates was really loud. I'm not sure what happened with her that day but she shouldn't put all of her negativity to the customers.
Excellent authentic Korean food, fast and friendly service. The kimchi pancake appetizer was very tasty (and huge!) and the japchae was seriously delicious comfort food. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
This was our second time here. Great food. Enjoyable atmosphere. Superior customer service. My family and I had several different items on the menu. I don’t think there is a thing we wouldn’t like.I absolutely loved the Hotstone Kimchi soup. Everything is super fresh and made to order. I will be going back. It seems like a “hole in the wall” type of place. It’s definitely one you should try.It’s family friendly. Had high chairs and booster seats. The waitress was kind and made sure our daughter was also served. She even helped cool down her rice (it wasn’t very busy at this time, I wouldn’t expect it to happen if it were busy). We felt like family.If you can’t find parking close by, it’s defiantly worth the walk. It’s surrounded by neat and quaint retailers to visit before and after your meal.
I eat here often. The food is authentic and delicious. I've tried several dishes and all have been delicious.
Just a really solid Korean restaurant. Never too busy and we are always happy with our food. To be fair, we only order chicken fried rice from here but it is always consistent and delicious. I especially love the kimchi that comes with it. Spicy but not too spicy. I have tried the Beef Bulgolgi too which was also delish.The main downside is they are closed on Sundays. And that's only a bummer because that is the day we always crave this place. Lol. Guess if that is the only negative than it definitely deserves 5 stars.
