I started coming to this place when I picked up / dropped off my daughter at school (TESC), because it was convenient and because I remembered Herfy's when it was a pretty big-time national chain back in the 1970s; was a regular at the one in downtown Auburn when I was going to school at GRCC and working at the Auburn Avenue Theater. With its chain-store pedigree, I didn't expect to find the quality and variety this place offers. Not only are the burgers, fries and shakes really good, but the teriyaki stands with just about any I have found up in Kitsap County, and the seafood items are multiple notches above normal fast-food fare. The place is clean, the service is fast and friendly, the menu is huge and the food is uniformly good. Oh, and the prices are more than reasonable, given the quality of the food. This will be a regular stop whenever I'm in Olympia; glad to have found it.
I ordered the cup of chili because I just got braces and can't chew very well. It was the best chili I've had in a very long time. I ordered another to take home for later. My son's got burgers and I asked how they were and they couldn't believe how delicious they were. My 12 year old said its one of the best he'd ever had. Aside of the great food the gentleman working up front was so kind and attentive us and all customers. He was working very hard and seemed very loyal to his job. It was a wonderful experience all in all.
Bacon cheeseburger was huge and delicious the large French fries was more than enough for both daughters and me. Definitely worth the price. Thanks for lunch Alicia
I'm not even much of a hamburger fan if I'm honest. But my buddy was hungry and we went, and it was probably one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. (Bacon cheese burger) so flavorful and the burger was juicy. And the waffle fries were so good!! Definitely recommend them.
I tried this spot out for the first time, and I had a great experience. I went with the Philly Cheesesteak w/fried and a shake, and I'd give the Philly Cheesesteak a 4/5. It was pretty damn good. It's not quite Jersey Mike's Subs good (which I think is top shelf), but it is definitely a lot better than most places. Service was great, and my order was made quick. You get a big helping of fries as well. I like to support small local businesses. The cost is going to be a little higher than normal, but hey, they gotta survive. This place is worth checking out. Overall I'd give this place a 5/5. I'll definitely be back to try one of their burgers.
The food was excellent as always but the girl at the front counter was extremely rude over the phone and in person despite us being as polite as possible. If I didn’t already come to this this restaurant frequently I would have never come back due to this girl’s customer service. Every other person I’ve dealt with at this location has always been amazing but tonight I feel bad for any customer that has to deal with this girl. She should not be in customer service in any way. We were in the middle of talking when she rushed us by disregarding us and focused her attention on the next customer giving the same rude attitude towards them
The bacon cheese burger was stellar. Grilled onions. Fry sauce and onion rings, excellent. We're pretty happy.
Decent tasting burger and fries. They got my order out to me quickly, which is good because I was the only person there except for someone who already had their food. I felt it was a little over priced but not terribly because it was a lot of food. Was very pleased that they had fry sauce!
They have good burgers and fish and chips but the real reason to go there is the deep fried goodies ( like deep fried mushrooms, onion rings, cheese sticks) and the quantities that you get are great.
That guy wasn't kidding, seriously good fries! Not sure why or how they are so good but they are. And that's even after they sat with the doordasher for half an hour.. Burger was well made and tasty too but man those fries.
