Prices are a little steep , but the food was excellent. Good atmosphere
It's good American Chinese food, wait staff is great and drinks are good. Lots of pull tabs
Just came as family of six, we were sat quickly in a timely manner. Waitress was awesome very attentive kept drinks full had a wonderful attitude. Not disappointed at all about food wonderful portions great quality ..we will be back ☺️
my son is allergic to nuts and there was a huge notice on the receipt. they took it very seriously and it was so nice not worrying about his allergies at dinner.
We ordered 100$+ worth of take out. Pork fried rice, egg foo yung, king pow chicken, almond fried chicken. Now the entire house is chasing the bathroom. All 7 of us, I don’t understand why the quality is so bad. Even the steamed rice has a funny smell. Water chestnuts and broccoli are not at all the right texture. What’s going on with this place?
The food is always good and plentiful. Never had a bad experience or server. They have always been friendly, quick and attentive.
They really messed up my order I didn't order been sprout I ordered chow main the food was very tasteless overall and not good
This used to be our favorite Chinese place in town. But the menu has been massively streamlined... Which usually indicates a change for the better. But my wife ordered the won ton soup, and I had the lunch combo with the chicken almond subgum chow mein and the pork fried rice: everything was unfortunately flavorless and bland. I used some hot mustard and chili paste, and the wife used a lot of soy sauce, but we could not bring the food to be palatable enough to eat.Maybe the kitchen isn't using MSG because of health concerns? But I like MSG! It's what makes Chinese food taste the way it does in the U.S. after all. ***The waiter was VERY understanding and helpful, and he adjusted our check when I politely told him that our food was inedible because of the lack of flavor. In summary, I hope the kitchen tastes their own product and makes some changes soon. We like the restaurant, but it will be some time until we return. Maybe if we catch COVID and lose our sense of taste? ???
Every time I order from this place there's something wrong with it. The menu is not extensive. It's not complicated. It's not high-end or anything. I just dropped $55. Ill drive myself to Lakewood or hell, even Seattle next time I want "Chinese food." Or even hit up Grocery Outlet and pay 1/10 and prepare it myself.... And it would be better.I'd call right now and chat with whoever the GM is if I thought it would do any good. But this isn't the first time. It was the last for me though. My heart goes out to the people who live around here who order from this place and think it's actually good.
We have been eating there for 30 years and loved it. EP was our go to place for an excellent meal. Not anymore. The last 2 times we age there the food has no flavor, The soup was like water - also with no flavor. We noticed the hours have been reduced. I asked my server what was going on with their reduced hours. I was told that theiir chef quit before last Thanksgiving and they have been having trouble with staffing. Obviously, the chef who knew how to cook quit. This was at the westside EP, but we have had flavorless food at the northside EP - this is why we always went to the westside. We have decided to try to find another Chinese place to eat - we have removed the EP as our go to place in the future. It is sad - because we could always depend upon this place as a good place to eat.
