1st visit: Not a bad joint! Water views, fantastic and genuine and attentive wait staff, and standard fare food.2nd visit: Found easy seating in the bar/lounge area and they have a bartender that gives just absolutely top notch service. Had the ribeye and a cocktail that didn't disappoint.
Spacious place near the waterfront. Decent food in great portions and nice staff. Easy parking. Our wait time was ~15 mins during memorial day. Overall a good experience.

Stopped in here for a couple of drinks. I wanted to try some local stuff since I’m from out of town. The bartender was extremely nice and helped me decide on a beer to try and a wine to go with my AMAZING clam chowder. I asked if the patio was pet friendly and he said it was! I’m excited to go back and have drinks on the patio with my puppy. The view there is pretty cool too! The only thing that made me sad was they didn’t have raw oysters, other than that it was a super impressive menu.
This is our favorite restaurant in Olympia. The quality of the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is really nice with waterfront views, friendly staff and great menu selections. We took our adult son here for his birthday and Alexandria waited on us with her professional style and engaging personality. It was perfect!
Budd Bay was easy walking distance from the hotel. The view of the canal is really nice. Our waiter was wonderful. I highly recommend the seafood salad for dinner or lunch. The salad has several types of seafood, salmon, shrimp, etc. on a bed of spinach. Excellent local wine selection. We had several meals here during our week stay. The crab benedict is very good. Did not feel rushed.
We like coming here! My husband brought me for my birthday recently and we got the crab boil for 2. The portion was pretty generous, and oh boy was it amazing! I love how they elevated the flavors a bit and added scallops to the sauce. We also had the beer tasting paired with oysters which was delightful. I can't wait for another opportunity to go back! Their food is amazing, and the waitress really did a great job explaining the menu and recommendations.
My wife and I went here with our son for his birthday. It has been a few years since our last visit. It seems like the interior has been updated since then--very nice appearing and the booths all look new.The wait staff was very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent! We will definitely be going back soon.
