Service was like a Monty Python routine or Candid Camera. I am still shaking my head at the awful service. No offer of drinks for 20 min. The Prosecco was flat. A glass of champagne was going to take an extra half hour. No wine after ordering from 3 separate waitresses until an hour passed. We ordered bread 3 times before receiving it. Our dessert order was wrong. I had to go to the kitchen to get the right order myself.

My wife and I had dinner here last night and it was awesome! We ordered 2 appetizers; crossing and a creamy mushroom sauce and an eggplant appetizer...both were very tasty. My wife had a black cod dinner and I had a 8 oz. filet dinner...again, both were excellent. We ended with her having pistachio Gelato and I having panacotta. Such dreamy desserts! Basilica is highly recommended...pricey, yes...worth it, definitely!

What a hidden gem! With an unassuming street presence it’s easy to miss this amazing dining experience. The cocktails were craft made to order at the bar. Our calamari app was as good as any we’ve had anywhere. The entrees are huge (yay…leftovers for lunch tomorrow!) and absolute perfection. Extremely well made with fresh ingredients and we watched them make the pasta at their pasta table (see photo). The cannoli dessert tasted like actual cannolis instead of tubular pastry like 90% of Italian restaurants. Service was a perfect mix of helpful and attentive without being intrusive. I asked for a red wine recommendation to pair with my entree. Our server brought out 2 bottles for an on the spot tasting. I can’t recommend this place high enough. When family or friends visit this will be on the must-visit list. We will have it in our regular rotation when we want a terrific fine dining experience.

My husband and I had reservations for 7:30, when we got there we had to wait 10 minutes even though there were tables clean and open. When the hostess finally sat us we were confused as no one left so it wasn't an issue regarding sitting in a servers section. We sat there for 30 whole minutes before trying to get a hold of waiters.Twice waiters walked by our "excuse me". I finally flagged down a Hispanic gentlemen who was soo sweet. He apologized and got our waitress. The waitress who had curly short hair was SO rude. She spoke under her breath, and would reach over us very aggressively. After taking our drink orders she disappeared and didn't come back until it was time for the check. She didn't deliver drinks/food, didn't come out to check on us or refill drinks. The only one who helped us was the gentleman. He was very attentive and nice and made good conversation! The pesto pasta tasted like dry noodles. The sauce was very bland and almost nonexistent. My husbands lasagna was good and flavorful though. We were so excited to try thisplace but it was a terrible experience. Would not recommend anyone this place.

An absolutely AMAZING experience. My husband and I celebrated an early Valentine's Day dinner here last night and were very happy with our choice! The ambience of the restaurant itself makes it worth going out. We loved being able to watch the owner at work making pasta in front of us! The wine list is extensive and has a great selection. The cocktails are not disappointing either! Their appetizer special of fried brussel sprouts made even my husband, who hates brussel sprouts, rave about them. We also enjoyed a pasta dish that was so delicious, we debated getting a second plate! Our entrees were the risotto special and prosciutto wrapped steak, respectively. Although the steak was a bit more rare than requested (my own fault for telling the waitress it was fine), the truffle butter on top and vegetables served with it made it worth it. My husband swears his mushroom risotto was heaven sent, it was the best he has ever had. We finished it all off with tiramisu, which is so good, it alone is reason enough to come back. To top this all off, our servers were so attentive and helpful, they very much earned a large tip. The lighting and paintings and even the music selection made this entire experience such a wonderful night. We thank everyone so much and look forward to coming back.

Menu has lots of options, and a variety of allergy accommodations. Do not come hungry or expecting to eat soon. We went once a few years ago and had a great night.Went a week ago on a Friday night, due to a kitchen mix up, we did not eat for almost an hour. (Except the Bread was served) Prosciutto/cheese plate appetizer came tasting like it had been sitting a bit. Another 30 minute for our two entrees. Pasta was good. From what I’ve heard from friends it’s a luck of the draw on getting to eat without wait times. Won’t be back, not worth priceEdit feb 11th

Wow!!! The pasta may have looked boring but holy cow did it taste amazing, so many layers of flavor!! The braised pork was delicious too and the dessert was awesome! The waitress was super kind and helpful. My only only complaint is the calamari could have been a bit crispier but it was a lovely experience and I will definitely want to come back!

Came here on a surprise visit for our second anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed a tasting menu with wine pairing. Every course was an absolute feast for the senses and the owner himself described the meal in all its particulars. An absolute delight from start to finish. I wish I had more stomachs to have done the meal more justice!

The service was great. Server was polite, attentive and made good suggestions. We had hoped for a "wow" experience to celebrate a milestone birthday. None of the food produced the expectations we'd hoped for. Would we go back? Maybe. Would we recommend it? As long as you have lowered expectations it would be okay. The menu is good, with lots of variety. We each had a different dish and none would be described as outstanding. Good food, not great food.
