I've only had a few dishes, but I think this may be the best Thai in town. I've tried a few other places here in Oly and in Lacey as well and this is pretty good. The other place in Lacey near the Costco is good as well.
I love the red curry chicken. I also love the Phad Se Ew. I know I butchered that last part. Anyway, I am glad that I found this place although with all the business i give them they never acknowledge me when I pick up my orders. Or even try to engage in a conversation. And that does bug me. And also, their prices have really really gone up. That was sadness because I usually order two things. But I just can't anymore. Darn you inflation! I would eat there every night if I could afford it.
Wonderful staff, relaxing environment and delicious food! Couldn't ask for a better local spot!
My husband and I were shopping in Olympia and just happened to see Basil Leaf around lunchtime. We knew nothing about it but took a chance. The food was absolutely wonderful! I tried the swimming rama with chicken and chose the combo, which added steamed rice and pad Thai. It had broccoli, carrots, onions and cabbage in a light peanut sauce. The pad Thai was really good too, although I shared it with my husband because it was a very generous portion, more than I expected with only a $2 add-on fee. He had pad see-ew with chicken, also very good. The wait time was a bit long, but good food takes time, so that was fine with us.
Mama Frid Rice it's more like boiled rice,..they simply don't care, there's not any consistently with food quality what or ever I will never ever going back, period.
My husband & I really love this restaurant. We’ve eaten here many times. The food is always delicious & the staff is always friendly.
AVOCADO CURRY BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!! IT IS AMAZING!!! Definitely worth the price! It is so so so GOOD!!
Delicious curry and pad Thai and really great service!!
Hands down Olympia's best Thai food. Always fresh, always so flavorful and fragrant! Super clean, well prepared, and for a place that cooks when you order, it is fast. I love their fresh rolls with chicken and prawns - tightly wrapped delicious romaine lettuce with the most delectable peanut sauce I have ever tasted! My favorite lunch special is the cashew chicken, which comes with vegetables roasted to perfection - still crunchy and fresh, and at the same time bursting with flavor. Their pad thai is dreamy and again a feast for the palate. They clearly know how to prepare food just right! My two favorites for low energy days or winter chills are Tom Kah and Tom Yum - if I get the Tom Yum at the onset of a cold, I don't get sick. Their fresh ingredients are working wonders. Since the pandemic I've been a regular here, and I don't get tired of it, which says a lot. So glad we have this gem here on the west side.
The moms fried rice is fantastic and fresh. The staff is really friendly as well.
