The actual execution and structure of the sushi itself was really really nice; as was the service.The soft shell crab itself I can still taste three hours later every time I burp. Fingers crossed on where Ill be in 3-4 more hours.The imitation crab salad has far too much mayonnaise in it for my tastes but these two critiques aside I would return and try something that didn't have either of these things in it.The eel was very nice.
Look, I like sushi as much as the next guy but I'm no aficionado. The miso was delicious as was Aka Hako Roll, which I would have preferred more chilled. However, my Japanese companion from Nagoya was surprised to find such high quality and presentation in Olympia, WA; which I think, is pretty high praise and why they get 4⭐, rather than 3. So, give them a shot and let me know what you think.
Best sushi in area local business very friendly and welcoming. Great Service and excellent quality food and operation. The only place that I would recommend to sushi lover's not all raw so good for starters or even those that don't like raw fish .
Amazing food! I am an over the road truck driver, very much wish u could have dined in but it was delivered by doordash very quickly! I try new local foods a often as u can in my travel and this is top tier. From coast to coast, Aya is the MOST!
I’ve been here several times the past 7 years. Love their giant selection of rolls, the fresh miso soup is always great, the food is tasty and high quality, and the staff are always very friendly. It’s a little slower than usual since they seem to be looking to hire more servers. Just have some patience and be friendly! The dragon roll is my absolute favorite roll and I always love a side of seaweed salad.
The restaurant has a nice ambiance inside. The service was slow and the prices seemed a little high. The food was good.
Not a bad spot to eat at it. Customer service is pretty good too. Unfortunately it does take awhile for the food to come. If you have time definitely recommend.
Super yummy and so beautiful! I NEVER usually take food pix but the presentation was incredible. A little pricey for lunch but filling and yummy!
Amazing Sushi, service, and staff. Did try the softshell crab appetizer and was very disappointed. Way over breaded bland and tasteless. But don't let that stop you. Everything else is amazing!!
Very tasty sushi and other Japanese cuisine. Nice large portion sizes and reasonable price. Hope they can hire additional staff to help in the dining room. One server was really working hard
