I normally love this place, but today was disappointing. I had to go back because and item was missing, they corrected it. Ultimately my poor rating is due to being serve raw rice. When I got home and discovered it, I literally had to cook the rice again. It was so incredibly crunchy and mixed in with everything. I truly don't mind waiting a long time for food as long as it comes out cooked.
Great outdoor food truck. We’d come here a million times for the Arepa Carne. Add a cider from the tiny cider taproom and it makes a perfect lunch date. Yum.
Only got the fries and tajadas but boy did they fill you up on both. The bag full of fries, while huge, only lasted a few minutes. The seasoning and crispiness was just right. Almost went back for more except I couldn't bring myself to eat another BAG of fries. Never had tajadas before but if I'm in the area again I will be getting more. Good combination of sweet and a little more sweet.
Just ate here for the first time recently and had the Carne Arepa. So good. The shredded beef was very tender and flavorful and the gouda cheese was the perfect complement. The outside is a corn-based "patty" that has a slightly grainy texture similar to grits (which I love) but in a mire solid form obviously. All the flavors and textures go together well and it was enough to satisfy my hunger, even without any side dishes.I only rated it 4-stars because I've only been here once and tried one thing. But if everything tastes this good it's a definite 5-star establishment. The service was also pretty quick even though there was a decent sized group of people ordering. This was during the week at lunch time.I'll be coming back here again soon!

Terrible food with even worse customer service. Save your money and time and go to another food vendor who actually cares.Response to Owner’s comment: Yes, I ordered a beef Arepa and the plantains. Beef Arepa had raw dough and the plantains were burnt to a crisp. In all honesty, even though the food is terrible, I wouldn’t have left a review if it wasn’t for the way you treated me and my girlfriend. You were extremely disrespectful and acted like we were beneath you.
I moved here from Salt Lake and we had a pretty good Venezuelan restaurant there, so I was hopeful about Arepa Latin Street Food.Thankfully my expectations were fulfilled and then some! They were out of the Reina Arepa so we got a Carne and Vegetarian. My daughter let me have a bite of the carne and the shredded beef was very good! For mine, the mixture of the plantains, black beans, onions, and the addition of avocado made mine even better than I remember back in Salt Lake.We also picked up an order of yuca fries and I am now spoiled and will forever see potato-based fries as inferior. The garlic dipping sauce was fantastic.I will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu!
What we have tried so far has been fabulous!
