The milkshakes are so good! This is a great spot to stop for a quick burger and fries or deep fried dill pickles and the like. It's a walk up window to place your order, but there is a nice place to sit in the back with a little water feature and some picnic tables set in a small copse of trees. The service is always quick, the workers have been pleasant and the food is good. Definitely worth a stop for a peach or blueberry milkshake!
Really truly incredible. I got a bacon cheese burger, with just ketchup. That's a good test. Holy cow was it flavorful and fantastic!! The bacon was like damn good ?!! The fries were just simple crinkle cut but they were hot and delicous.My only like warning or note whatever is that they only have an outhouse. It was clean and fine, but that's the only option.I will totally be back, especially to try a milkshake!
I've been to my share of burger stands and this was my first local stand here in washington. The food was hot, fresh and pretty original. The burger patty lacked some grilled flavor, the 'net' sauce was simular to big mac sauce (somewhat).. but the food was great. I can't critique anything else except maybe the hours since I've been trying to come here forever and they close at 7pm. I actually loved the food, loved the vibe and the prices were fair. I've been to many restaurants/burger stands and the reviews reflect the product. Deserves 4.5 stars!! Would be 5 stars for me..if there was just some more 'grilled' flavor and a sauce that complimented it bringing it all together. I got a net burger, fries, pickle fries and my wife got a mushroom burger. We would've had pictures of the food but we ate it all pretty quickly. We will definitely be back.
The Net is a hidden gem among burger joints. It is a great restaurant for classic American fare, the burgers are always perfectly cooked and the lettuce, tomato, and onion on the burger are always fresh, crisp, and never wilted or soggy. The large size of fries is absolutely massive and can easily be split among two people providing great value. The onion rings and fish have a great crispy hand battered flavor with amazing tartar sauce. There's good reason why this place is a hit among locals.

Hands down the best milkshakes nd fried mushrooms around. The service is friendly and fast and the prices are affordable. One of my all time fav fry places. Don't ever go to Mt Vernon without stopping for some crinkle cut fries and a Milkshake .
Forty minutes to get our order. Bbq burger was flavorless. Not the first time I've gotten a disappointing meal here. That won't happen again. Not going back
The food, the service, and the girls that work there are great. I've never been disappointed in the slightest. If there were any situations where I was disappointed at all the girls fixed it so quickly and so well that I can't for the life of me think of anything that was wrong with the food, service, or the workers. Stay great girls you're killing it.
