I used to love Mt Vernon Taco Time. One reason was the caffeine free diet coke that noone else seems to have. It's been awhile and I was looking forward to it only to find they no longer offer it. The tutor tots are getting too small and today my crispy burrito was not hot, just warm. I've not been disappointed in the past. Somethings changing. $12 for water, 10 taters, one Taco and a not hot enough burrito is just too much.
I only stopped here once, but they, like all the Taco Times I have visited, the were fast, friendly, and the White Chicken Chili Cup I bouth only has 160 calories.
I'm glad I finally tried this place. the food was hot(that's good) and I was impressed at how good the crisp burritos were
OK this is one of the best family restaurants to ever go to it's yummy delicious and they always got good food
Like any other. Greasy and the mexi fries were warm not to my liking. The hamburger is as it should be not real and I about choked on the soft taco
My husband and I have eaten at a lot of Taco Time’s and this was the worst experience ever. We are not typically picky with a small mix up however we asked for hot sauce on two veggie burritos- one of them had none and one of them was doused with what tasted like vinegar but it was so spicy, our mouths were on fire (we swapped) and we like hot stuff! The other one no hot sauce and neither one came with the sour cream sauce they normally come with which is not that big of a deal. Tater tarts tasted like they may have been cooked with all the oil and they were soggy in the middle. Shortly after eating we both had digestive issues. Do not eat here!
Way better than taco bell. More meat in the tacos or anything else you order. Very delicious
A little overpriced and wasn't that good for the cost. Fish tacos had too much sauce and were soggy ☹️
Quick stop for dinner and, since there was no dining-in, we went the drive-thru route and found a place across the street to eat.The drive-thru line is never-ending and we came to the conclusion that this place is a gold mine.Food is good, but expensive and I still think Del Taco back in Cali (and some other states) is better. But, it satisfied that bean burrito craving!
Better food than any Taco Bell. We did take out.
