I just had an outstanding interaction with the Subway on Section St in Mount Vernon WA. I ordered using the subway app which indicated to me that the order would be delivered. However, they called when the order was ready to be picked up. Due to extenuating circumstances, I was unable to pick it up and couldn't find anyone to do it. Evidently they only deliver if ordered through Uber Eats or Door Dash. This started about 7 months ago. Bless their hearts, they delivered the order after all. Very impressed.
Never going to this subway again. Constant problems, but today was so irritating. I ordered through the app and chose a bottled soda as part of my meal. Show up to see I have a fountain drink cup near my pickup order, and the employee says, "Oh we don't carry bottled drinks, we've been trying to get it off the app, but can't figure it out. Even doordash still offers it." Okay whatever grab my bags, fill the drinks and go. Arrive at work, sit down to eat, and no chips are with my meal, I call wondering why they forgot my chips, "Oh we have customers pick out their own chips." 1. Why wasn't I told this? 2. There was no sign or info to indicate this. So I had to go back to the store on my limited lunch break to pick up the chips and tell their manager to give me a call so I can figure out what happened. The call was not helpful whatsoever all she told me was "We don't know why we can't change it. We own 8 stores and that's the only one it won't work for." Excuse me you have EIGHT STORES and you can't figure it out? Maybe don't offer it? This manager was not helpful, I will say she took my advice at putting a sign up, but that's AFTER I had to call and make a fuss about the lack of communication with this. (I don't even know if they'll follow through with this..)Other than that though she didn't even sound like she cared to fix the problem or ammend the issues, kind of half-apologizing and explaining that she doesn't know how anyting works EVEN THOUGH SHE'S APPARENTLY IN CHARGE...I'm never going back, this is insane that they think this is acceptable. Wasting the time of your customers and your employees with this issue that it is your job to figure out. Just go to LITERALLY ANY OTHER subway nearby, you'll get A+ service compared to this garbage fire.
Josh was amazing. He was very patient with my complicated order, he was willing accommodate my requests. Extremely friendly. Hire more people like this!
We were doordashing and wanted to get some food after we took the order. We picked up the order at 9:35 and a couple was walking in the store. When we got back to the store at 9:45, the couple was still standing there. At 9:50 the kid working the counter walked out made eye contact with us and turned right back around. My boyfriend yelled towards the back and said "hey buddy you got paying customers out here and you're not closed" the lady that had been waiting said something about wanting his name and he came out and said "you want my name? You can have it I don't have to help you were closed!" We tried to tell him that his sign was on and his hours say he's open until 10. He argued and said due to his closing list he can't help people past 9:45. We told him we'd been there since then and he tried to tell us that we didn't come in until 9:55. The couple that was there before us literally walked in the door at 9:35. His poor attitude lost the business at least $50 in food, if not more.
The service was extremely quick and there was no line to wait in. The store was very clean and the workers were extremely nice and helpful.
I go to subway every day and they always make my sandwiches super fast every single time 10/10
Best Subway location in the valley. I do online and walk-in orders from time to time and every time, everything is always made very well. Staff works hard and are very nice, and personable. These guys are always working, whether it’s online orders, counter orders or cleaning. I love going to this location. Keep up the good work folks!
Subway has gone down and down and down the longer they are in business. What's wrong with them? Let me break it down for you.1) Roast Beef sandwich----gone, deleted from menu.2) Whole Chicken Breast sandwich---gone, deleted from menu.3) Yellow American Cheese----gone, deleted from menu.I used to recommend this restaurant but not anymore. They just don't have the menu they had and the things on the menu they do have now, don't look fresh to me. That's the bottom line.
I stood at the counter waiting while the employee was in the back doing whatever. When she finally came out, she washed her hands (good), then something made a chime sound and she grabbed a receipt print out and hung it on the line. Then she puttered around grabbing things she needed. She never even looked at me as she started making the other order. She did eventually tell me that she'd be with me shortly. I didn't care to find out. Being treated with indifference is worse than being treated rudely. Either way, it wasn't her place to decide that my business wasn't wanted... Unless she's the owner. I bet the owner does want all the business that this employee decides day after day is unnecessary.I went to Firehouse Subs instead.
This place is always out of stuff, primarily bread, and they're typically pretty rude to people about it. I go on a regular basis for lunch from work. I get salads, so this hasn't impacted me, but I've seen rude behavior and inability to fill orders a ton of times. Today, my coworker and I placed online orders at the same time. When I got there, they had filled my order but told me they weren't doing online orders so hers wasn't filled. Super confused as to how that makes sense. Came back, and she had a Voice-mail from someone saying "we aren't taking online orders, and even if we were, we're out of pepperoni, so we cancelled your order". No offer to get her something else, just a lie about not taking online orders. I'll just drive further away to a different subway from now on, this place is junky and likely can't/won't make your food anyways.
