I have never walked out of a restaurant in my life until yesterday. Arrived at 11:40. Waited 15 minutes for a table and were seated in the bar. Waited another 10 minutes before the waitress even acknowledged us. We were only provided a breakfast menu and there was only one item on the menu that one of us could order. We were told they were out of that item. Inquired about a lunch menu and were told lunch wasn’t served until noon. By this time it was past noon. Waitress brought menu one lunch menu for the two of us and informed us all breakfast orders had to be done before the kitchen would switch to lunch. No idea how long that would be. We left.
Service was great even during construction. The menu is not the old farmhouse menu, and the food tasted terrible, we had 15 people and not one felt like “yeah I’ll come back”… just meh.
Became an employee after being a customer for a very long time...once inside the kitchen as an employee I was horrified at things I saw or observed and wanted to vomit at the thought of all the meals I ate there as a customer....dirty and filthy kitchen, dirty floors, and equipment,,,dirty filthy walk ins that are over crammed with undated foods....a breeding ground for bacteria,,,salmonella,,ecoli,,and alike...I would never recommend this establishment to eat or even have a glass of water....the food sucks,,,it's oversalted,,,cold,,,and not worth your hard earned money.....
fantastic food & the service is outstanding along with the atmosphere but the servers are so nice and helpful I just love to go eat there
This establishment has gone thru a change of ownership and name. It is now owned by the Shawn O'Donnell group under the name of Shawn O'Donnell's American Grill & Pub. The menu has changed a bit; retaining a few of the previous popular items.
Food looked good but most of it was room temperature when it came to the table. Serving sizes could have been better. kids macaroni and cheese was kraft that was made ahead of time then microwaved kids only got 3 apple slivers they also got their food when everyone else was almost finished. Our waitress never came and asked If we needed refills on drinks had to call her over multiple times. Dessert wasn't offered, we had to ask for a dessert menu, couldn't find one and the menu was not the best to read, non alcoholic drinks are not listed anywhere on said menu.Pictures are of their prime rib, prime rib dip, salmon and their shamrock margarita.
Great menu selection for lunch. Service was sure and steady. Hot Turkey sandwich was a load and very tasty. Guinness beef stew oh so delicious. Fantastic drink selection. A place to try...again.
We went for the steak peppercorn soup they use to serve years ago. We had the fish and chips Irish way dish. Yummy! We ll go back for it.
Really good corn beef. Can't wait to try other foods. Update the boxty cakes are great. So far everything has been really good
We met our adult grand children there for breakfast and what a nice surprise. We had such wonderful food and the best part were the Irish biscuits served with the wonderful jam. The pancakes were great, the omlettes were really good but the biscuits were the best We were told the Irish soda bread was served with lunch and dinner. We plan on eating there on the 17th of March and bringing friends with us. for lunch. We are looking forward to the O'donnells Irish feast. Everyone should try this place. You will be in for a really nice surprise The prices are good and the quality is the best as is the service.
