This place serves real, traditional espresso and coffee. I got a cortado and my wife got a London fog tea which was very tasty. We got a breakfast bagel sandwich as well.. in my opinion it was very comparable if not better than whidbey island bagel factory itself. I was very pleased with my visit Saturday morning. Employees were kind. The back counter was clean. I was surprised to see they offered wine and craft beer in the later hours. I will definitely be coming back to this place when I don't want to make coffee at home!
Great little coffee shop! I had a delicious cup of breakfast blend tea, as I am not a coffee drinker. I also had a delicious everything bagel with cream cheese.I look forward to going here again.
This place was perfect to stop by for a quick bite to eat & some coffee before the tulip festival. We drove up from Kent so we really wanted a good bite to eat & stretch our legs! Turned out there was the annual art & street festival the same weekend which was a delight & they were prepared staff wise & food wise! My wrap was amazing & my coffee hit the spot perfectly!
Good coffee, low-key/friendly vibe, and decent sandwiches in what is clearly a local fave hangout. Around these parts, it seems well established that the food items take longer to make, and that one should enjoy the art and architecture while you wait. Don't come in here expecting the rapidity of a fast-food joint. They have meat, but offer up non-meat items without your even having to ask. I didn't see any plastic with our meal, and they seemed willing to take out reusable mugs. They did have plastic straws but not sure if they're compostable.
Really good espresso drinks and a nice environment. Who knew that itty-bitty Mount Vernon had such a place? Not me!
Sample size is but one, but I had an 8oz latte there that was both delicious and had the perfect texture. That exceeded expectations because smallish town. It's also a nice room.
The first time I went here, my group of 3 were the only customers besides 2 in there. It took 45 minutes before my wrap and chips arrived. It had taken 35 minutes for my latte. I am glad I wasn't on my lunch break. The second time I went here, 3 customers were leaving and looked upset. After I ordered, my friend and I heard the workers blatantly mocking the family of 3 that had left. I was a paying customer who won't be back.Funny enough, their preset tip amounts start at a "low" of 20%.. yikes
Stopped here on the way to deception pass from Seattle to grab lunch for a hike. Got a couple of sandwich lunches and coffee. The paninis we got were excellent and shockingly held up very well despite sitting in our backpack for ~1.5 hours while hiking. The workers were super friendly and gave us some great local tips about the best place to hike for a quiet day. Cappuccino was good, better than Starbucks for sure, but the foam was a bit bubble bathy if I'm being honest and critical. Overall, this place is ? worth going out of your way for, especially if you're looking it pack-in some lunch on a nice Saturday hike. Very affordable and healthy too, which is nice.
Friendly baristas, great bagels, yummy coffee and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options! What a wonderful local business ❤️ they’ve always got a nice selection of local art to browse and comfy seating!
Cocoa abuelita style was suggested by batista when I ordered hot chocolate and glad she suggested it. Delicious with the added spice/cinnamon. Husband had latte which was topped with a beautiful leaf foam art. Would definitely recommend.
