I got the Gyoza as an app. Very good, house made. The Kitchen Roll was my meal and it was amazing. Loved the atmosphere, the waitress was very nice and again, the food was delicious.

I love the food here, but the server has some issues. There were times when she was very very nice, but the last time was rude and not even paying attention. I know it's a family business and I love going there, but definitely they need to hire more people

Bento box beef came with a good salad and the side soup w/rice solid service and food

Excellent food, one of my favorite restaurants in Mt. Vernon. Unfortunately we have spent more disappointing moments having to deal with the restaurant being closed for whatever reasons than getting the joy of enjoying the meals, or maybe its just our bad timing. Recently we made sure checked the website said was opened for business drove 30mins when we got there there was a notice saying closed to be opened on the 22nd. very disappointing indeed. Please can you update your website to keep loyal customers informed and satisfied.

I was unfortunately disappointed with my visit today. I had ordered what stated was “Prawn” tempura and was disappointed that there were only 3 prawns and 4 or 5 vegetable tempura. If the menu says prawns I expect to get ONLY prawns especially when I’m paying $16 for it. I would not pay that much just to eat tempura covered broccoli. Also, they don’t have enough people. It took forever and a half just to get our food. There was only one server, though she was really nice, it was obvious that she needed help. Their combo Katsu wasn’t very good because the sauce was too sour and the pork tasted dry. This place seems overpriced and you’re better off going somewhere else. Save your money.

The teriyaki tofu here is not good. It is super squishy and soft. If you want crispy tofu, go to bite instead. They have the best tofu teriyaki in Mount Vernon. Plus it’s cheaper. I pay around $13 at bite and nearly $16 here. Not worth it whatsoever, super disappointed:/

First time here and they have cute interiors and beautiful displays of dishes. Their bento is really cute and delicious. Recommend!

What a find! This a a cozy little restaurant which serves excellent Japanese food. I was delighted by the quality. The chef goes above and beyond the usual to add beautiful, tasty touches. The tofu I ordered with my yakisoba was clearly home-fried with a crispy outer layer and a creamy soft center. The veggie gyoza wasn’t a mystery paste or simply stuffed with cabbage, but rather, filled with a nice variety of diced vegetables, wrapped in a fresh, delicate dumpling. Even the edamame were not ordinary. They were well salted (pet peeve when they’re not) but also boasted a hint of sesame oil. Fantastic! The prices are very fair, given the quality and quantity of food. The service is quite efficient given that everything seems to be made from scratch and the help was attentive and kind. I will definitely be back!

I ordered the Miso soup, veg tempura, smoked salmon roll, yellowtail roll, and the garlic ribeye. I'm not sure which item was my favorite. All was fantastic.

Great food, friendly staff, and comfy atmosphere. The sushi is especially good and fresh.
