So at 9pm tonight I ordered BBQ pork and a chow mein dinner combo when I picked it up I don't even know WHAT I GOT AND IT WASN'T A MEAL AT ALL JUST A CONTAINER OF GOD KNOWS WHAT AND COLD AS HELL BBQ PORK with only hot mustard and seeds I could not even dip the bbq pork since I'm not allowed to have anything spicy so that was a huge let down and for whatever was in the container which was just veggies maybe with chicken but with my digestive issues I paid for food I can't eat! So disappointed I can only eat 1 time a day and wasn't even going home tonight but staying at a hotel with my friend so now that everything is closed looks like I don't get to eat since I spent the rest of my money on this food I'm not allowed to eat unless I feel like spending this weekend in the hospital so thank you so much very unimpressed and unhappy with this.
Amazing food and service!!! We were seated immediately, given perfect amount of time to look at menu-order. I had my 2 kids with me and my 2 year old was acting out a little so the waitress brought out some crackers until out egg rolls came. Some of the best egg rolls we’ve ever had. HUGE food portions. Top quality food. Prices fair. We had enough food for two dinners ? Waitress was on point. We will be coming back! Thank you so much!
Food was really good as always, service was so so. We were seated, we knew what we wanted, got our beers, placed our order, a couple with three kids came in and were seated kitty corner from us. Thier order was taken, they got thier food before us!? That was terrible service in my opinion. Not to sure I want to go back if that's how they treat people.
I ordered my food, paid 80 dollars for it just for them to forget my bbq pork and pork fried rice, when I went back for them they said they couldn't give me my bbq pork because they gave me double rice. Idc I ordered both an ONLY got one. This place is terrible for customer service and the waitress that was working was very rude and sassy with me from he get. Don't eat here unless you expect to be disrespected.
Terrible service they for got things on our order then argues with my fiance about the food order. Horrible experience still didn't get the right portion in the end. If u want to be treated badly then this is the place to go. This just happend paid $80.00 for bad service and didn't get our whole order! Do not recommend!!
I recently ordered dinner for my family, online. We were craving Chinese food so we thought we'd try out Maxi's restaurant. We ordered sweet & sour chicken with sauce on the side, Mongolian beef (medium spice), Maxi's fried rice, and soft noodle chow mein.We were disappointed as soon as I opened the containers. The chicken was nothing like the pictures from past reviews...it was breaded, fried then sliced and I'm not even sure what cut it was, maybe thigh? It was very odd texture and most of it was not edible.The Mongolian beef was a fair cut of meat and cooked well, but there was no spice. The chow mein was pretty good. The Maxi's fried rice was another disappointment, but for that I partially blame myself. There was not a description of what was in maxi's fried rice but it included multiple types of meat.....shrimp was one of them...I do not like shrimp at all. I should've called the restaurant to get a description before ordering but went with it, expecting something totally different.I typically wouldnt leave a bad review for a restaurant but after spending over $100 for our meal and being so disappointed, I had to share my experience.I may give maxi's restaurant another try but I would be more particular in my order.
Omg this place was so nasty…. The food was dry no flavor and the meat tasted weird. I’m not one to go hating and write a bad review but this place had me so disappointed I definitely don’t recommend it and will never be going back
I hadn't been to Maxi's for quite awhile since I moved back to the area. I had combination dinner #1. It was just as tasty as I remembered. So delicious! I'll be back.
