Server was super nice. Most of the food was cold and almost stale tasting. Instead of taking the food that was inedible off the bill, they brought us fresh food in a to go box to take home. Which was fine, but we were running errends and the food was going to be cold when I got home anyway? The manager really shocked me. All the booths were dirty. No dishes, just needed to be wiped down and two even had a rag on them, just needed a quick wipe. The manager was seating two ladies at a table and they asked if they could have one of the booths. He looked around and said "Well, that one is dirty, that one's dirty, that ones dirty, sorry they're all dirty." And made them sit at the table.I was a server for 8 years, until last year, and understand that it can get busy (which the dining room wasn't), but he definitely could have taken a second to wipe one down for them.
Love their wait staff. Always thoughtful. Sometimes funny. Prompt and great service. What is not to love about breakfast? Most important meal of the day...even at noon.
We have been to this ihop several times in our travels up and down I-5, we have had great service. This time not very many customers we got seated right away then no service at all, 3 other tables got seated after us and got service right away, after 20 minutes we got up and left. I told the hostess why we were leaving g, she didn't care.
We got there and were seated and waited about 20 minutes for our server to come take our order for drinks but by then we already knew what to get for food. So we ordered and waited for about 15 minutes for our drinks. Then we (a table of four) waited and waited. It took about 45 minutes before they started bringing out food for tables that came in after us. We noticed the first one but didn't say anything, the second we got frustrated, the third table they served that got there after us we asked someone to get our server. She apologized that we had not been served yet. We waited and no one came so we set a timer after 5 minutes that if no one came in two more minutes we would leave. So we did and just as we are leaving a guy comes out and says it will be 10 minutes and your food will be here. We are short staffed (no apologies said ) we told him it's rediculous to wait this long and if you were short staffed other people wouldn't be getting served. This is not the first time we have been under whelmed there. I wouldn't recommend going there.
Went here on Free Pancake day, excellent service! Staff are extremely friendly and restaurant is very clean. Food was prepared quickly. Only complaint is that the tables are all kept completely empty (no sugar packets, syrup, condiments, etc) and are only available upon request.
Great service by the staff. Food was good but nothing special.
Customer service has been so hit and miss at this location lately. There's a few waitresses who are so nice & others won't even check on your table & act annoyed at asking for the minimum (salt, pepper, drinks, ect.) As someone who has been both a waitress and a cashier its sad to see how little most of them care for their customers. Food has been great everytime, but the attitude of 80% of the workers is ruining this place
So greatful to have places to go to still for breakfast and at 8am when most places are still closed.I had the shredded steak bowl with fresh fruit and it was delicious.
It took about 15 min to get our coffee, had to repeat we wanted a small OJ. The waitress was friendly. Then we waited half an hour for a cold Belgium waffle and eggs over easy with fringe around the edges. The pancakes were good though. They did replace the waffle. No holiday decorations anywhere. We probably won't go back.
It's been a few yrs since I went there because of the food quality but I returned for another try and I was pleasantly suprised.the cleanliness throughout was on point! Miranda was the sweetest and she was very efficient with timing during our meal. She came to ask if we were ok, brought refills w/o requesting (before I ran out). I had country fried steak and it was crisp flaky breading with perfect seasons. I asked for toasted hashbrowns and my eggs scrambled soft.....and folks....THATS WHAT I GOT! My daughter had avocado toast and she said it was delicious but next time she'd ask for mayo. Sweet tea was a hint of sweet not overload! Coffee enough for my whole experience. Grand improvements! I think I'm coming back soon.
