So annoying. Everytime I go they mess up my order and they never fill up the blizzards all the way. I asked for peanuts on my sundae and they charged me 75 cents when they never have. My Daughter got a mint brownie blizzard and all it is is mint ice cream that’s not even mixed fully. They need to train their employees all the same because they’re never consistent.Update: Came back today. Haded me melted ice cream after sitting at the window for 15 minutes. Wouldn’t refund me. A bunch of teenage boys running the place. Not surprised that this is the service. Dairy queen by WinCo from now on.
I walked up to the dairy queen to get a banana split, which I was really looking forward to, but when I got there the doors were locked. I stood there for a few minutes and I could see a few people in there. Then one of them walked up to the door and said they were closed. It was about five o'clock, dinner time. A strange time to be closed especially since there were workers there. But they could not get me some ice cream. I was disappointed
Inside was closed. Sat in the drive through (around 4 cars in front of me) for 15 minutes. Couldn't give up and leave, because the line is blocked in with concrete barriers.Almost $7 for a medium cotton candy blizzard. I was handed a cup around 2" tall, maybe the size of the cup you get when you order espresso shots at a coffee shop, and quickly ushered away from the window. This was my first time ever going to a Dairy Queen, I just assumed this was their idea of what a medium ice cream was, so I didn't say anything.I stopped in the connected "mall" parking lot to taste it, and it was cherry. I find cherry sickening and inedible. It was also half melted. I had to drink it like soup from the spoon just to taste it. I look over at the receipt, and I definitely ordered and paid for the medium cotton candy, and was given their smallest cherry for the better part of $10.The drive through had about 15 cars in it at this point (meaning well over and hour of waiting if they went the same speed it took them to get through 5 cars when I was there), and the inside was locked/closed, so complaining and getting what I ordered wasn't an option.I promptly threw out my $7 waste of money. Never again going back.
Place is fine. They have a to-go window that you can walk up to, which is nice. Food is pretty good, just a little expensive in my opinion. I don't necessarily go out of my way to go here, but I certainly don't avoid it.
Standard ice cream at 7pm, with the BK across the street closed due to poor pay. This DQ drive through line was slow and all four staff I saw had long hair unkempt with masks around the chin, so they don't seem to care too much about food safety or public safety. I'm not planning to buy non-frozen food here unless they change.
This one kid wouldn’t give me food because I wasn’t in a vehicle. Yes I understand that it’s policy. But I have a tall van with ladders on top and I’m not trying to break anything because my vehicle is too big. I asked him if I could just order inside but he than said we are under staff to take order inside. I told him “is there anyway I could get food than. Just work with me man” than he said no you can’t get food here than slammed that window hard as hell. I’m not much older than this kid. So screw that kid. I hope he steps on a Lego
I enjoy the food, and the dessert! Pretty fast service, and the cashiers are always plesent! Good pricing as well!
So here I was craving ice cream and some food. I didn't want to make my man go to two different places to get me food and ice cream so I looked up dairy queen knowing it was close to us. I am 9 months pregnant and when I am craving something it's no joke. Anyway I read the reviews prior to him going because I noticed one when I was looking up the menu, so that being said I should have known better but I thought maybe our experience won't be like all these other poor unfortunate souls. ? My ice cream had a medium length curly black hair in it. ? Obviously I was pist. Neither my husband or I have curly black hair so it couldn't have been ours. They forgot the ketchup and the fries tasted old and nasty. I was hoping to give a good review but I guess not. I really hope this DQ gets some new management because it seems like things aren't going so well there based on all these reviews.
LOVE THIS DAIRY QUEEN. Everyone here is always nice. Last time I was here (beautiful sunny day and hot) a customer was yelling at an employee for taking so long and expected their order before anyone else's. The drive thru line was to the street and inside (where I was ordering) was busy as well. Sometimes it blows my mind how rude and selfish people can be and that they don't take into consideration that other people actually placed their order before they got there. I've seen this numerous times and still can't believe it and think if this is how they act in a situation like this, I would hate to imagine or wonder what it's Iike living or working with them.
Please open the dining room drive thru ok but I like eating at a table.
