D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S, this place is awesome. We tried a little of everything. The shrimp po boy is not like in New Orleans in the least, but it's still yummy. The Mac n cheese wedges are delicious and surprisingly better the next day. Jalapeno poppers have a great kick and cooked perfect. I wish the onion rings were beer battered, but that's just my preference. Great fries, curly and regular. The banana milkshake tasted a lot like banana yoohoo, but the cherry was amazing. I was stuffed and had to eat my burger the next day and it was amazing. We really enjoyed AJ's and plan to enjoy their food amazon shortly.
Came and got 3 burgers and 2 fries. I have never had so much salt in my fries before. Wow. The burger meat was really dry but tasted ok. I prob won't go back
Ate here on way to Canada from Seattle. I had a double cheeseburger, fries, fountain drink, and a peanut butter and chocolate shake. The food was great!! Other person I was with had a single cheeseburger, fries, and fountain drink. The standout though was that shake ?. All that came out to about $30 (with tip).Also the young lady working the counter did a great job multi tasking (answering phone orders, in person orders, and making shakes). The older lady assisting the main cook was really moving, made me tired just watching her.Pros: food is delicious, price is reasonable (coming from a pricey area already), shakes are some of the best I’ve ever had, service is outstanding (they were very busy when we came in), food tasted very fresh, food is made to order (we still only waited about 10minutes for our food).Cons: The restrooms were blocked off when we came in (wanted to wash our hands, used hand sanitizer instead, should have asked but I’m giving them the benefit that it’s something out of their control)I seriously can’t think of anything in this section that would lower their starts to me.
I almost don't want to give this place 5 stars, because once a place becomes very popular I don't get my food as fast! AJ's Burgers reminds me of a burger should be if you went to a friend's house. Now that friend may not be making big huge beef patties but for crying out loud he has other people there that need to eat. But I can say AJ's has fresh lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and REAL bacon not fakeon but real bacon!(Well at least every time that I go). AJ's are pretty good on ketchup, mustard, mayo ratio. They don't put to much not to little just enough for you to know that you can taste each on individually! Don't know how they do it, but they do! Shakes are perfect pair with there burgers.(Get the blackberry!) Fries are pretty good! Also is you are wondering what to get when you go there, get there jalapeno burger and make it a double! Wife likes there mushroom burger! So with that I say, go get yourself a AJ's Burger! Get out of this comment review thing and go! Because that's where I am probably heading after I write this!
I have tried the food 2 times. The first experience definitely better than my most recent. Thought it might be a bit over priced. The fish and chips didn't taste or look any different than something that can be picked up from Costco or Safeway. Lesson learned on my end.Three stars you ask? Well I ordered the meal thru a promo on UberEATS pick up. Totally walking distance for me. App goes off telling me the order is ready. They were busy and the staff didn't have any idea what I was talking about. Then the nice lady looks and says it's right there. I was excited then I found out she was talking about the order ticket ?.I've been on that side of the counter. Unfortunately it's part of the business model to pay some highschool kid willing to take whatever pay doing what-ever. Can't be to critical.
This is my 2nd REVIEW in a few months. thought I would give it another try. There is no way this is the best burger in town. I ordered the cheeseburger,the patty is laughable it is so thin. If it wasnt for the tomato, onion, and lettuce there would have been literally nothing to eat. The crinkle cut fries are straight out of the freezer right along with the burger patty.. These reviews are exaggerated and people are stretching the truth. I will never return. You'd be better off eating the kids cheeseburger at McDonald's. 1st REVIEW meh. my experience was not as favorable as the majority of reviews here. The day I went here was during lunch and the place had only a few people dining in. The bacon cheeseburger was very disappointing.....the patty was very thin and appeared to have come apart while cooking, the cook pieced it together and served it anyway. After taking the first bite, pieces of the patty fell out of the bun. The fries were luke warm. prices are not cheap either.
Great little burger joint run by some of the nicest people. Burgers are old fashion, hot, and very tasty. Love the Nyan cat on the wall.
It was a clean place good burgers, the portions were a little small, but all in all the pretty good place
Great hole in the wall burgers and more. Food is always fresh and hot. Good quality ingredients. Fresh bun, fresh meat, fresh vegetables, and your sides are not cooked until ordered as well. Very friendly service! Plus many shake options!
Stopped here for lunch after a Dr. appointment at Seattle Children's North. Fantastic burgers with awesome service. See you again next trip over.
