Haven't been here since it was Patty's Egg nest. Wow they turned this place out. My husband and I suggested going here with our family. The food was delicious, kid friendly and the kids actually ate the food which is a big deal for us. Mixed drinks were made well and tasty. There is a full bar, with wine and beer. I'm told they play UFC fights. They have Taco Tuesday and Trivia Wednesday. My husband and I are making it up for that soon. I will post up how it goes. They have live band Saturday. What a great place and running all these activities. It is cool to see and hope it will bring folks out and reconnect. Parking was good, disable parking and accessibility. Not sure on the restroom situation as I never used them. Clean, friendly, fairly priced and great service. I'd say make it out and give them a try.
Very sad day at The Cove. They used to have one of the best burgers around, The Cove Burger. Half a pound of awesome meet, 2 dope strips of bacon, cheddar, garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. When I went today, their $17 flag burger was a scrawny thing looking like a jack in the bock drive-thru burger at 2am. The 2 bacon strips? Now it's just 1 cut strip in half, half a pound of beef? Doubtful. No garlic aioli either (had to ask for it to the displeasure of a waitress). Cost cutting? New management? I don't know but sad either way.All that might be forgivable during lean times even for a $17 burger, but when I mentioned my concerns I encountered rudeness, that's what'll make me never come back.
I've always loved the Cove but I haven't been in for a while. Went there on a date and the food and drinks were fine with very reasonable wait times. My experience was ruined by the staff. They were very nice and accommodating, however they were so loud it was disturbing. At one point a server left a table kind of skipping and yelled at the top of her lungs to someone behind the bar. She was facing me about 4 feet away so basically just screamed right into my face. There was a server standing on the bar at one point. Another server was dancing all around back and forth to tables yelling to people behind the bar. It was so disturbing. I just wanted to enjoy my meal and my company. Very unprofessional! I won't be back.
Went there last night, took about 20 minutes just to get our drink order and another 30 minutes before we could even order. Felt like everyone else was getting good service and we watched everyone else have a good time and was just longing for that feeling. Had high hopes because it’s rated 4.5 stars but I definitely did not have a 4.5 time. Food was great the restaurant was great but didn’t enjoy the servers cussing in the corner and gossiping and when I needed service. Definitely will not go back
Food and drink are good but you come to this place to experience the atmosphere that the owner has been growing since the good old days of the Jet Deck.. and the Jet. At the cove, there is frequently music, trivia, movies, games..come on in and experience this place for yourself. I have been loving Steve’s spots since my 20’s?
We asked for 2 separate bills... They split them down the middle. The other couple didn't drink and still was charged for half of ours. The wait staff was stand offish and the food wasn't hot. 5 off my muscles weren't opened. Cold fries. Beer wasn't great, but if enough like grease when you leave this is your place. Probably won't be back
A spectacular find!!!Lady Gaga Tribute band rocked the house with their talent along with 2 phenomenal drag Queens worthy of high recognition!So much fun, will be returning
I give this place 4 stars because of the service and the atmosphere. The food wasn’t bad but it was a bit overpriced (except for the tacos, which were pretty decent). The drinks weren’t very strong and tasted watered down, for the prices I expected it to be a little better. But the service was amazing and I actually had a great conversation with our server who was very kind and personable. We’ll come back to give this place another try, and maybe have a beer this time instead of a mixed drink. ;)
Friendly bar staff, great food, great atmosphere. Definitely a bar you can have dinner or late night drinks. The Sriracha Mac and scotch eggs are amazing options.
Went here to watch the kraken play. They had good service and a great selection of spirits. The mussels were excellent.
