Absolutely delicious Korean food served with extremely hearty portions. Good value for money and you may want to order less than you expect at the beginning. The banchan contains a very extensive selection including a tofu soup. The most unique dish here is the Ganjang Gejang which is a raw crab marinated with soy sauce similar to a ceviche. Strong smell of fish sauce but the actual meat itself is quite pleasant with a very neutral taste. The other dishes ordered included a goat kimchi soup which was quite tasty with an absolutely massive portion of soup. Also ordered a pork belly lettuce wrap which once again was a massive plate.Service is quick and efficient.
The food was quite spicy and salty for me. However, the staff was friendly; the atmosphere was cozy and slow. There are many parking spots in front of the restaurant so don’t worry.I still recommend this place to those interested in Korean food and cuisine.
It’s not cheap but the portion was large.I went there just for the crab but it’s sold out.The soondubu is not spicy, more tastes like sesame oil soup, hopefully they can add more spicy powder into it!The LA ribs are good and tasty! The bibimbap is (๑⃙⃘´༥`๑⃙⃘) good!Their side dishes were so many and delicious! The radish soup was one of my childhood favourite!Their service was not bad as how other people described, there are many waitresses and only one of them was kind of impatient. The other waitresses are friendly and kind!
The best Soon Du Boo in town. They also keep it consistently good. I always get the Galbi + Soon Du Boo combo.
What a great spot for Korean food. Nice clean restaurant with friendly staff. The food was delicious and great portion sizes. The shareable stew was spicy yet delicious!
Great Korean dining experience! It was cool to see the call button at our table. The food was good but I can say the banchan were great! I'm looking forward to going back and trying some of my favorite dishes.
WARNING: read the low reviews before coming. You will be treated VERY POORLY if you are not Korean. If you are white, you will be not welcomed at this place, I am not exaggerating and just left the restaurant feeling humiliated after trying to return to this place after a year. It is so strange but it’s been this way for YEARS, they are not friendly and they do not welcome white people!!! I tried ordering food and they weren’t having it, I just walked out. Other Korean restaurants in the area will treat you with respect, hospitality and kindness and they will actually greet you and allow you to eat there. Do not bother coming here it is a hostile and negative environment that the staff have created and it’s frankly disgusting.
I’ve tried coming here many times without my Korean friends and they are so rude it is unbelievable. They look at me CRAZY coming inside as a white woman and are so rude despite me living in Korea and loving Korean food, I honestly cannot believe how outlandishly rude they are, I don’t understand it but it is clear you are NOT welcome here unless you are Korean. I repeat, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE UNLESS YOU ARE KOREAN. The staff is OUTRIGHT PREDJUDICE.
Although the staff is poor at understanding English, the food tastes very good and food portion is big. We ordered only 3 dishes for 5 people to share.
Expensive but definitely the best Korean food we have had since moving from LA. The Galbi is to die for and all the soups are delicious too
