Harsh rating because I know what this place used to be. Their food was perfection, and this place was our go-to.We went there yesterday after not having gone in a while. The prices had gone up, which would have been fine, but the portions were cut in half. We were shocked at how tiny our burritos were. They were barely bigger than grocery store frozen burritos. The taste was different too, but in a bad way. The sauce for the wet burrito plate tasted like it had olives in it - it was bizarre and gross. It's so sad how this place has declined. Now we have to find a new place because we definitely won't be back after yesterday.
I read some reviews saying this place was 5 stars. The restaurant is set in the back of a small grocery at a gas station. I ordered the 5 taco plate. You choose from 3 meat choices and it was a little over 10$ paid by credit card with the two salsas they offer at .25. So with a tip 12.50. The corn tortillas aren’t made on site. The meat is previously cooked and reheated at time of order. The taco is covered in white onion and cilantro. They didn’t offer a choice of salsa and I was given a spicy Chipotle style. The tacos are on the small side and were pretty typical of what you would get at a food truck. Average.
This place has it figured out. A hole-in-the-wall establishment in a gas station convenience store with some of the best burritos and Mexican food we've found in the area.
Best carnitas and verde/green salsa. Tacos plate is a great deal. Tried and loved different things from the menu. Secret item on the menu is their salsa. They sell it by the ounce and it’s the best.
Best spicy pork tacos I've ever had. Breakfast burritos are amazing, too. I eat there 3-4 times a week.
Great food and quick service. The price is fair for what you get.
I want to pick up my buddy, and hes like, you wanna quesedilla? I'm like, sure. Oh my goods sweet cheese and crackers, I am so ecstatically happy I got it! Delicious!
Ordered a pastor burrito and pollo asado. The burrito combined with the salsa was delicious, even though it was incredibly greasy. The pollo asado was extremely dry and overcooked. Your experience is dependent on what you order from their menu, I suppose. Price was very affordable and budget friendly.
Really liked the food, esp for the price pre-pandemic, but prices have gone up considerably though understandably since the pandemic. Sadly no longer a good, cheap meal for my big family.
It may not have the best vibe for being inside a mini mart but this place has straight AMAZING food! The moment a friend took me to this hidden gem i was addicted. Havent had anything from the menu i dont like and there have a unique and seriously tasty green sauce. These people are great and the food is fantastic.
