best korean food i have tried in the great seattle area. Recommended by a foodie friend, nd my Korean manager! She said this is the only one worth eating in Lynwood!Service was awesome!Food was amazing!I love everything we ordered. But I wouldn’t recommend the tofu soup. That’s nothing different than any other places. The seafood pancake might be the best one I have ever tried. The octopus one is a must!!!A bit pricy for me as we spent like $150 for 3 people. But we did feel extra full! Maybe we ordered too much’ but there are just soooo many that I want to try’ will come again for sure if I come to the neighborhood!
An we waited an hour for the seats, but it was worth the wait. They had the last call an hour early and we were the 2nd last in the waiting list.Service was excellent, especially maintaining the soup and distributing the udon. Very friendly staff. The dumpling soup was very spicy though, so we couldn't finish it all. The vegetable pizza was good. The pork belly and short ribs were delicious too. Though next we will order less food.
We were told this place is the best Korean restaurant in this area by Korean friend. She was right, we liked their dishes a lot.It was Saturday lunch time and really busy, but we were able to seat in 15 min. Most of staff was working efficiently and really nice. We’ll come back again.
Been here twice, first time had to wait for 40 min, we came without reservation around 7pm, next time I booked a table. The food and the atmosphere are great, servers are very attentive and friendly, they are checking in regularly and refilling the banchan as needed. The short rib soup was very tasty and flavorful, very filling and comforting. I didn’t like the ox bone soup with brisket that I had on another occasion-it was just white water with tasteless overcooked beef, but I guess it’s this kind of dish. The pancake is ok, nothing exceptional. All in all nice neighborhood Korean place- not much different than the others in the area
My top three soondooboo in Seattle Area! Not sure if they take reservations but definitely go there as early as whenever they’re open. The staff was friendly and polite. They offer hot tea without extra charges which is really great. Soondooboo, the beef ribs soup, and side dishes were great. We’ll definitely come back whenever traveling nearby. We were there at 5PM on Saturday, the waiting time was about 30-40 minutes. It gets crowded after 5 PM
We went here Friday night and wait for almost an hour. I think it’s expected in weekends since they don’t take reservations on Friday and Saturday. We ordered seafood pancake and gamja hotpot. I’m not a big fan of Korean food but I like it. You can easily get the meat out of the bones! Juicy and tender.
We were in the area and decided to have a early dinner and settled with Korean cuisine. It was pretty busy thus, the wait time was around 30-45 minutes. The restaurant’s atmosphere created a really cozy dine-in experience along with very friendly staff and delicious food. The side dishes are plentiful and tasty and from the menu, if we were to only recommend one dish, it’d be the Cheese Tteok-Bokki. One of the best Korean Restaurant in the area.tldr: (Someone in our party didn’t like their food (they honestly didn’t know what they ordered) and Modoo allowed us to swap it out for something else.)
I was trying to find a place to eat closest to Lynnwood Costco business center. We found Modoo. We went back again and both times food was good and service was good. Everyone was polite. Food tasted good and side dishes too.
The food was great! Kalbi Jim was amazing! The restaurant was full even we arrived at 4:45PM. Prepare for wait for 30mins
Excellent service and food. The restaurant was quite busy and we waited about 20-30 minutes to dine in. The pork belly and squid pan-fry was so yummy but a little too spicy for me. The mud fish soup was great. It had bean paste and pickled veggies, very well balanced taste.
