Came to Lasa last weekend at the recommendation of 'The Stranger' and savored every bite of these incredible sandwiches. My partner and I split the lumpia sandwich and the Lechon Kawaii Roll. The pork belly had the most perfect crispy skin and they do not skimp on it for this sandwich. The lumpia sandwich had a crunchy lumpia wrapper in the sandwich which is a neat touch. There isn't a ton of seating and it took a while, but it was busy and we didn't care.
Definitely worth the trip! I purchased the Lechon Kiwali Roll, the Sisig style fries and the Boracay Breeze (for those new to calamansi, it can be a bit sour but I liked it a lot). Food was amazing, and the restaurant has a feel good vibe.
Finally made it up to Lynnwood to try LASA! And it was WORTH it- totally lived up to the hype.We started with Lumpia Shanghai and Sisig Fries. Lumpia was hot, with tender, seasoned beef. Fries were perfectly toasty brown, with awesome flavor. The citrus onions were so unique, and the crispy pork belly was just…*drool*. So tender, I thought it was creamy sauce. We split a Lechon Kawali sandwich. Oh my GOODNESS. I assumed the pork belly would be similar to the sisig, but it was totally different. It had a dark bark, with moist, string-apart meat. Calling it a “sandwich” is laughable. It is a plate of lettuce and rich pork belly, with a bun on the side to absorb the juice and give some relief to the spice from the chilis. Approach with a fork and knife, and enjoy!!
Loved LASA! Definitely gave me feelings of home ❤️ Pictured are: lumpia sub, lechon kawali roll, sisig fries, and Borocay breeze. All delicious!!
Food is amazing! I had the lechon kawali roll maybe two weeks ago and I still think about it lol. Their sisig fries are also super good and refreshing with the fresh veggies.
WOW! Flavor to the max! We just left the restaurant and our taste buds were pleasantly surprised. But first, the restaurant itself. The atmosphere was bright, the music had me dancing in my seat and the "hello, welcome to Lasa" with a smile was much appreciated as soon as we walked in the door. Too bad it's small as it's an inviting place to hang out and eat. But every business has to start somewhere right? Now for the food. The presentation, despite being simple, definitely got the laway (saliva) flowing. The first to hit our pallettes was the Sisig Fries. OH MY GUT (Filipino accent intended)! It was beyond our expectations. I would've been happy with just that. But of course, it being our first time, we had to order other things. One of which was the Lechón Kawali Sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted, the veggies crunchy and the lechón crispy to perfection. And BIG. We also ordered the Shanghai Lumpia which was tasty as well. Now for the drinks. I ordered the Boracay and hubby ordered the Taho. Mine was definitely refreshing and something best served during summer weather. As for the Taho. It was ok. Kinda tasted more like Milo with Boba. Overall, two thumbs up. Gonna have to bring the kids next time, as we'll never hear the end of it once we tell them about the Sisig Fries.
If you're looking for a steak-sized hunk of meat in a sandwich, look no further. Charred on the outside, tender on the inside, tastefully seasoned, the fried adobo chicken sandwich is a filling, satisfying meal.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Inside was very clean and orderly. The food was great! I agree with another review saying that it is a bit greasy, but that's to be expected with fried pork belly. Lol! Overall flavors were superb, and I will definitely be going back to try other menu items!
Finally came up north to try this restaurant and wanted to try it for a long time but never had a chance to come north so took advantage on a rainy day yes i decided to get halo halo just because I've never had it?. I also got the recommended adobo chicken which looked good but unfortunately it was a little overcooked which brought my rating down to the 3 ⭐ instead of 4. The halo halo was really good and im sure it'll be a lot more refreshing on a hot summer day. The place itself is very nice and clean and seems like a good dining environment. The staff was definitely friendly and nice so i appreciate that because it shows how much they care for the food and the restaurant. I'll definitely go again for the lechón sandwich which looks good in their ig page. I'll update my post once i do. The food option and prices are reasonable. I would recommend this place to my friends for sure for the halo halo. Thanks!
The food and drinks are very rich in flavors, which could be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your preference. Unfortunately, for me, the food was too greasy and the drinks were too sweet.
