The food is Korean restaurant is incredible. We ordered the sweet and spicy wings, Japchae and Galbi. All the food had exceptional flavor. The only drawback at this restaurant is the service. I only saw my server when they were bringing out food or collecting the check, they never refilled our drinks or checked on us. I’m still giving the restaurant a five star rating because the food was so good, the service and appearance of the restaurant does need some improvements, the men’s bathroom had an intermittent flushing problem which was appealing when I had to use the restroom.
I ordered lunch from here but they delivered wrong items! Of course the payment was wrong too. We called restaurant but no one answered the phone. Maybe they are too busy, but I am disappointed
Came here early on a Sunday. No customer around. All the attention was on our table. Ordered bibimbap and bibimbap, both with difference ingredients. Both tasted delicious. Ordered side dishes. Like to try the ginseng chicken next time, especially when it's 30ish outdoor.
Been there a couple times. Food was good. But the service was incredibly slow though.
I received my order on Thanksgiving day, beef bibimbap, kimchi fried rice, egg rolls, Gyoza. The presentation was WONDERFUL! very very pretty. Unfortunately the non-fried food was pretty low on flavor. The kimchi in particular was very disappointing, I take that as a bad sign when trying a new Korean restaurant. I'm sad I won't be ordering again.
Located within the Highline Plaza in Lynnwood, my family and I decided to come have dinner after our long hike. There's plenty of parking in the plaza lot, which is shared with all the other businesses nearby. Walking in, there is a sign on the door that encourages wearing masks upon entering. The entire staff also wears their masks. Tables are well spread out to continue to enforce social distancing. I appreciate restaurants that keep their restrooms clean and Gangnam does that. Now on to the service and food! Unfortunately, I'm giving them a 3-3.5 star because of the slow service. We got there and ordered our food, but it took quite awhile before we were brought out the banchan and even the main course. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that the service was slow because they could be short staffed. At the time we were there, there were 2-3 other tables with groups of 2-5 people; plus they seemed to have a lot of To Go orders. So that could have been the reason why service was slow for dine in.As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! The three main dishes (spicy bulgolgi, spicy squid stir fry, and seafood tofu soup) was enough to fill up five hungry people.Aside from the service, the food was delicious and the staff were really kind. So for now, I feel like I can only give them a 3.5 at most. I hope the next time I find myself there that the service will be a bit faster.
Ordered Korean Seafood Pancake and Dolsot Bibimbap. The Pancake cost $15.99 was not well cooked, some dough still raw in the middle of the Pancake and not much seafood can found but a lot of green onions. The Dolsot Bibimsbap and their korean side dishes is just okay. Service was not satisfied at all, no greeting when check in, no come over checking if anything we may needs during our stay, our half cup of tea had no refilled.Overall taste of their foods is below average compared to others Korean restaurants. Might not come again.
The food is horrible. It used to be my favorite Korean restaurant. However, I will never go back again. I ordered the set for two people: fish, tofu soup, bulgogi and steamed egg. The fish is dry and stinky. The tofu soup looks water mixing with some kind of instant soup pack. The bulgogi and steamed egg are tasteless. The service is not good either. The waitress didn’t ask us if we like the food or need anything.
Decent korean food, but avoid this place on Friday and Saturday evenings... you'll be waiting at least an hour for food.
