Stopped here traveling through the area. The worst sushi I’ve ever had. How does this place have so many good reviews? I’m assuming from all the townies. Ordered the Christmas Roll (I think that’s what it’s called). It said it had “real lobster” in it. The roll was filled with mostly planko and tiny strands of lobster topped with the most pink tuna I’ve ever seen on top. Looked very unnatural and not fresh. I ordered $80 of food and didn’t eat most of it. #trash

I love this place.Katsu bowl. DeliciousSushi deliciousI am addicted to spicy tuna rolls. The miso soup is always perfectly hotAnd the service is always so quick! Its lovely. Im happy to have Sakura in town:)

I love that you can get any roll made with soy paper instead of seaweed! I love this place. I love the workers. The food is exceptional and I will definitely be back! Go to sushi place in Longview.

I don't normally eat sushi because I don't do seafood or seaweed. But this place has options for me! So good. They have veg rolls that are to die for.

Pictured is Bento box #2 and the Las Vegas roll...All very delicious. My favourite sushi place. Clean, friendly, accessible parking lot as well.

1 star only because of the ice water. Wait staff was ok but slow. Terrible terribl.e sushi. I ordered the 2 most expensive rolls on the menu, the Lion King and the North Bend. Worse roll design ever. Could not see the roll hence they came out in pieces with chop sticks, had to use the a fork on the Lion King, still was a huge chore to eat, very poor quality and taste. Then the North Bend. All I could taste was cream cheese, and lots of it. After the second bite I hurried to the bathroom and hurled everything I had just eaten. I left the rest. Before that, the waitress came by and asked how it was. I tried to give her an honest answer without offending her but I always try to tell the truth, she blamed the error on the sushi chefs. I will not ever return and don't recommend this place at all.

I don't typically write comments, and the 2 other times I visited this restaurant, I didn't have too bad of an experience. But after my visit tonight, I won't be going back. It started by my 5yo daughter going to stay the night at her friend's house, which never happens, leaving my 3yo son and I to hangout. We don't ever go out to eat, so I figured tonight would be a perfect night for a guys night out. I had been craving some good sushi for a while, and since it's a Friday, let's do it! We arrived at 7:30pm, the place was not too busy and already took 10 minutes to have staff approach me and get us a seat. My son and I sat down, another 5 minutes and we had our menu brought to us. The waitress let me know it was going to be a little bit of a wait to get some food, so we ordered some appetizers as well as sushi and beef yakisoba. Appetizers came within 20 minutes. If you don't have kids, entertaining a 3 year old when they are tired is a task on its own. A few times the waitress came to tell us it was getting close. I asked if I could get extra wasabi and ginger with the sushi. By that time it had been so long I asked if it could be a to go order, got the check and paid with a generous tip. Much more time passed and out came the yakisoba noodles. Great! Almost there...nope. Another 15 minutes went by and I gave up. My son and I got up and started for the door, where the waitress met us with our sushi at 9:23. By this time we were the last ones in the restaurant. The waitress said she had given us some ice cream, so I was looking forward to what I thought was going to be deep fried ice cream. I get some and sit down, pull out 2 trays of sushi. Only one of which has a marble size ball of wasabi and a small portion of ginger. The other tray has none. The ice cream was not deep fried, but a serving of mochi in a plastic package. Trying to stay positive that the sushi would be good. It was not. It was bland and poorly filled. I don't know if my excitement made this experience worse or if it was just that bad, but I will be looking elsewhere for my next sushi craving.

This is my second visit to this establishment.General atmosphere and service:The first time we looked up the menu ahead of time, and decided to dine in and have an order to take home, the service is quick, responsive, and very helpful. This is the second time and we decided to just pick up and dine home. The wait time was short, service was just as great this time. The front reception area is well lit, you can see the sushi bar on the far side of the register as you enter. The restaurant feels on the dim side in the eating area, but this is more due to the very high backed booth seats.Food:In the restaurant we had the Gyoza Ramen and Oyakodon, both were outstandingFor the sushi we took home, the Spitfire Girl Roll, Boston Roll, and Trick or Treat Roll. Again these were amazing.Pricing and Summary:If you dont mind food being around $10 on average per dish, combos and specialty items running $11.50 on average. The food is great, the ramen in particular was a full bodied savory dish. The Spitfire Girl roll was an experience of spice. However the Trock or Treat roll suprised me and stole the show.I would highly recommend trying this place if you like sushi or asian cuisine.
