Tables where a little on the dirty side
I've been here before and it was a jam packed full house around 6pm. I went in for father's day dinner w my family the night before fathers day around 9pm. It wasn't busy maybe 3 tables were being used. Right off the bat the waitress didn't seem very happy. Maybe something was going on in her life or just a bad day. But she was short and not in a friendly customer service way. Just to be seated, same with ordering drinks amd food. After 45 min of waiting we got our wings, they were not good. About 8 wings sitting a a bowl full of buffalo sauce. They just dripped with sauce and were fatty, and alot of brown spots due to being frizen wings. It then was a 50 min wait to just get the food we ordered. Things take time I understand but when we asked how much longer will it be. She was not happy, and just said it's still on the books while grabing stuff off the table. We were still trying to eat the wings since we bought them. When I said I wasn't done w my plate, she just walked away. Once the food came out, and we talked to the manager. She seemed nicer. But over all it just wasn't worth the 88.00. And fathers day dinner was a dud. Sucks. Working in customer service for over 15 years, we got an apology from the manager but nothing to make up for it or how can we make it better for u. A credit or even a 10 off next time for them to prove it would be better next time to make up for it. The menus had the same old stuff every pub may have, I think a verity of stuff on menu would help and customer service from the people who work there and timing wise may help this place out. I don't think I'll go back here.
Yes, the beer options are amazing. Go for the beer. Don't order the seafood. Maybe we should have stuck to the burger menu, but the three TINY (think 1" x 3") pieces of halibut were dry and overcooked. The coconut shrimp tasted like neither coconut nor shrimp. And outrageously overpriced. Won't be going there for food again..
Huge selection of beer and the food is always great.
I would give the food a B+ but that being said, we paid about $30 a person for our meals which adds up quick. Also we were charged $17 for 10 wings that we didn't receive. The waitress said she checked to make sure everything was there because we did have a large order but when we got home we saw they gave us an order of toast instead..it wasn't a terrible experience but I'll probably only go back for a date with the husband to keep the price down, and not do pickup again.
The place was packed with locals and we found out why. Excellent food and service. The chicken club was delicious and the brisket sandwich was awesome as well. We don’t recommend the clam chowder, but you shouldn’t order that in a bar anyway. Finally, excellent choice of craft beers and ciders. Be sure to give it a try!
Food not worth the price. Period. And the whole vibe amongst the employees and interaction with the owner/manager Doug was cringy. It seemed they were all scared of him the moment he came from the back. Steer clear there are many other places to spend your money
In town for the night and we were looking for good wings for my husbands birthday. We found that in spades at Porky’s! Food and drinks were delicious and the servers were incredibly friendly and attentive.
Today was packed but you wouldn't have known! Julie was on it! She did great with being on drinks then our appetizers then our dinner. The best service for being slammed! Even if it wasn't slammed best service EVER! Absolutely would recommend! See Julie!
Great service and great food! It was pretty busy when we got there but you wouldn't have known it from the quickness of service! I'm a person who hates waiting for anything so I was skeptical about going in with a full parking lot cause I was hangry! Fast and friendly drinks were excellent as well!
