This is a great place for bringing guests or just having a nice meal. Dates, family dinners, kid friendly, and a wide ranged menu. I would recommend asking specifically about what's on each dish if you're a picky eater, so there's no surprises. For example my guest I was with bought blue nachos (i forget the exact name) and it has blue cheese on it. I don't like blue cheese, even though their homemade blue cheese was good enough to tolerate and tasted way different than the store-bought kind. But I ordered the loaded sweet potato fries to avoid the blue cheese, and the fries still had the blue cheese on them. great place overall. I will be bringing my grandpa here for Father's day :)

The Bleu cheese nachos were probably the best I've had in this state. I hate Bleu cheese but this exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is very cool with alot of reference to a wood mill but also very classy in ambiance and over all atmosphere. The kind of place you could go on a business dinner to or have a few drinks after work. The food is very good with a good amount of variety and signature dishes that are very well put together. If you get a chance to try this restaurant I recommend you do. It's one of the much nicer ones in Longview and that's saying alot.
what's not to love? ice cold beer served by a cheerful waitress...check! delicious clams and house-made potato chips...check! knock it out of the park pork butt stew....double check. this place has it all. we can't wait to return for more. awesome food and service at the mill city grill. our socks are officially knocked off!!!
We made an unexpected stop in Longview for dinner and decided to try the Mill City Grill. We enjoyed seeing the 8ld cars cruising downtown.As for the food (at least, mine), what a revelation! The Pork Butt Stew was delicious and memorable. With no exaggeration, this was the best soup I've had in a long, long time. I loved it! ♥️
Came here for Valentine’s Day with a friend and her two kids. Understood it’s a holiday and waited a half hour before being seated which was totally understandable. However, we had to tell the servers it says seat yourself but tables were not clean with four families waiting. Looking around the room you could tell majority of the guests were not happy with the service. There are 3 plus servers and were not working with a purpose. It was busy but not too bad not a lot of people waiting to be seated but took over an hour and a half to get our food. I could see multiple orders sitting in the back. Servers coming out empty handed. I told the server I needed my burger with no pink as I’m pregnant it came out very questionable. Ate half of it and will just reheat it at home. I didn’t want to wait for a new one. My friend had a chicken wrap and by the time she got it the chicken was cold. Very disappointed.
This place was fine. Totally fine. Menu was too big honestly. Food was okay but would benefit from removing some of the items and focusing on a couple of the real winners. Definitely seems like a place that could handle large parties. We ordered right away and then watched a few real winner foods be delivered to neighboring tables. The wraps, burgers and anything with bbq sauce looked/smelled great. We should've gotten one of those but we were too buried under the size of the menu. Wouldn't recommend the beef stroganoff.
Waited over 8 minutes to be greeted while waitresses were talking. I am one person who is on lunch and knows exactly what I want and not a bad tipper.. The place was almost empty. Two other diners walked in and were greeted immediately. Then as an afterthought they came over to me with a menu. I left. Always had great service and today felt like I was unseen.
Really awesome food, a diverse menu is usually a cause for concern but not here, everything we've tried has been phenomenal. Service is friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and fast. Don't wait as long as we did to try this place!
