Stop in just for the Halibut!Our first time here, very nice!Freddy's is a cute seaside decorated building inside and out. Makes you feel like you're at the ocean!We tried their Halibut dinner, hot juicy deep-fried Halibut in a lite crisp coating, crisp fries, cold creamy coleslaw, and plenty of lemon and tartar sauce. The menu has many seafood choices most available as an A la Carte to a family sized meal. Pasta/Fettuccini, chicken strips, sandwiches, burgers, steak...dessert... the menu keeps on going!I tried their clam chowder, hot lightly seasoned (thinner) creamy soup filled with potatoes and clams. I loved it! You can get the chowder in a cup, bowl, or bread bowl! Perfect for a cold rainy day!I had to ask about dessert, yes, they do! I enjoyed a nice slice of Lemon Bar, yum!The waitress heard us talking about the possibility of bringing friends here on our next trip to the beach. She said they have quit a few people who just that!
Showed up on Mother’s Day (party of 8) and they took 5 minutes to decide if the were going to serve us . Place was not busy . They seemed annoyed that we didn’t place a reservation. Open tables everywhere. You really run a place like that? Your loss . Seems to me you need some hospitality training at your establishment . I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 30 years and have never had this happen. I hope the owner sees this and someone is reprimanded.
We went there for Mother’s Day and omg let me tell you this place has some of the best seafood I have ever eaten, and the service is par to none. They were so swamped yet were able to be attentive to everyone there. Coming as soon as drinks were empty, making sure people were happy while they were waiting. I know they had a couple orders that took a long time due to peoples allergies but it was nice to see them care so much. I can’t thank our servers and cook enough tho for the wonderful food and a great night . I would recommend them over any other seafood place I have ever eaten at.
We have eaten sporadically at Freddy's. Service is always good, casual and friendly.Food is always good. I gave four stars because the food is that... just good but good enough we'll be back.
The service is excellent. Chicken Alfredo is the best I have ever had and the clam chowder bread bowl is amazing. Highly recommended.
Pretty good food, service was good, but almost everything is fried. Looking for a little variety. Wasn't told about the specials, but heard other people being told about them.
The food rocked. The blackened halibut over pasta Alfredo with mushrooms was just the best. Intensely great flavor. My compliments to the Chef again. We were comfortable dining in: a big bonus. We were on our way up to Tacoma and googled "best sea food near me". BOOM, this was just a little bit off our path but WELL WORTH IT! Staff was friendly and helpful! The cook peeked his head out and I had to thank him. The Cod from the fish-n-chips was perfect. The Calm Chowder was excellent and made every day. The shrimp appetizer was delicious. This is our new spot every time we head up that way!!!
