Aside from too many onions, the jjambbong was great. Better prices than some of the other local shops that sell the same thing.
If they make a mistake with your order, you better just eat it anyway. Otherwise the owner will come out scolding at you in front of the entire cafeteria acting like she doesn’t need anybody’s business. Worse service!
The food here was pretty horrible. The servers are friendly enough, but the food was highly disappointing. My girlfriend and I don't like to waste food but we couldn't even try to get through some of the dishes because they were so bad.The gyoza had a decent texture but something about the taste was off, the black bean noodles lacked flavour (and they completely skimped on the potatoes; literally one morsel in there) and the only thing that tasted **halfway** decent was the jjampong (ordered the half and half). The tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) sauce wasn't horrible but the meat was very questionable. As another review here mentioned, the pieces were tiny, and it tasted completely off--it definitely tasted like it was cooked in old oil and I've never had tangsuyuk this horrible in my life; absolutely not what it is supposed to look or taste like! We couldn't even get through more than a bite each of the Szechuan beef and pork chow mein combo because it was oddly very greasy/oily and the chow mein noodles were made with a different, thicker noodle that is not the standard chow mein; looked like the same noodles as the jjampong. The Szechuan beef had very little beef (???) and was mostly vegetables.Another weird thing is that half of the dishes came out hot while the other half were lukewarm, which almost suggests that they were not made fresh; I thought it was strange that they came out so fast.Overall, the service was alright but the food was terrible and overpriced for how horrible it tastes. In other words, I wasted my money tonight. Our taste buds and digestive systems have been thoroughly violated and I wish we had never tried this place out.
Absolutely top notch!! Wonderful flavor truly fresh ingredients quickly and expertly prepared. Friendly allowed me to modify my dish and I tell you the flavor balance was EPIC
Jjampong is always great, wish it had more seafood tho! And the canjajang is bomb too. C: there super friendly & fast too.
Their black bean noodle is just okay. There’s almost no meat inside. 95% of the sauce is onion + flour. I felt like around $10 for this noodle is too expensive. Do not recommend.
They were very rude and gave my wife food poisoning with the shrimp fried rice. Don’t eat here!
The sweet and sour pork had a fishy smell of meat, and they seemed to use the remaining meat. They were small pieces of meat the size of a fingernail. It was the worst sweet and sour pork I've ever eaten. If the sauce was too thick and sweet, the jajangmyeon was just salty.I will never go here again.
Best mandarin chicken wings in town!
This was a huge let down, the sweet and sour pork was gummy and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The jampong was ok but lacked the usual variety of seafood mix. Definitely not a fan and won’t return. Not sure how this is still in business with the quality and questionable practices.
