First time visiting, I got lunch with my husband and mom. I made a self build pizza, w/ cauliflower crust, garlic rub, spinach, mozzarella, chicken and artichoke whereas my husband got the Calexico and my mom got the Caspian w/ mushrooms. It was pretty busy lots of people were waiting but the employees acknowledged us and got through the line pretty fast. We will be visiting again for sure! The food was well cooked and yummy.
They started out fine till they got done asking me what meat I wanted instead of asking if I wanted to add anything else he just took my pizza and threw it in the oven if I wanted a normal pizza I would have spent my time ordering from pizza hut. I'm seriously disappointed and won't be returning to this location any time soon sense I don't get to put what I want on it and someone just making decisions for me
Fast service, tasty, my nephew loves it. We had a great auntie nephew date.
Ordered garlic cheese bread (good as always), veggie MOD, and MOD with pepperoni and mushrooms. I get oil and garlic as sauce on the veggie. It adds a nice flavor to the end product.
Went on an EXTREMELY busy Friday night and I am so impressed how hard everyone was working. The team was extremely efficient and polite. Our pizzas were delicious as usual, but watching how diligently everyone there was working was the highlight of my trip there this time.
Line moves fast. Pizza was delicious! Ingredients are always fresh. Great customer service!
The employees were yelling their own in house language while trying to help my hard-of-hearing dad. Must be a special place because one of them asked to “not lean on THEIR glass” and said to open the beer right in front of them. I tipped just to make sure they weren’t having a bad day but they were all a class act and power tripping. GO TO ANY OTHER MOD PIZZA than this one. I regularly go to the Tacoma on Pearl all the time.
The old crew must have phased out. The new crew can use some retraining. I thought the reason for larger sizing and higher pricing was solely due to the number of toppings you can receive. Apparently, the rules have changed. Less topping on a large salad, and you better not whine about it. I was drawn to this place because of the way they make their salads, cutting in a bowl and mixing everything. I guess the divide of this nation is running deep. Now, I get bulky lettuce and a spoon of diced tomatoes in one corner with two chunks of grilled chicken. Give me a break! Shame on you, Mod pizza of Lakewood, WA.
Normally rather enjoy our regular Mod pit stops but last few times not so much. This last time I found a hair in my salad that was not mine or anyone in my household as none of us are blonde. The did not add a couple items I requested on my salad. Not acknowledged when we walked in for our call in order and no they weren’t busy. The time before my kids pizza box had weird food smudges on the top of the box like burnt something. Reached out to Mod’s and no one reached back because I loathe leaving poor reviews and try and get it handled first but the company doesn’t seem to care. The last few times have been something each time so I think we need to take a break from Mod’s for a bit. We used to come in weekly but as service has declined, so has our desire to eat here. It’s a shame because this was my answer to pleasing all of my family members.
So they cannot make pizzas today. The oven is down apparently. But they can offer overpriced salads. You might as well close for the day and stop deceiving everyone that you are in full operation.
