Surprisingly good food. ? Menu and atmosphere are what you would expect from a brewery style pub. The food felt fresh and the flavors were great. The only issue was that the wait staff forgot our special orders. The issues were minor and easily fixed. But were easy to avoid. So 4 stars, not five. Will still go back.
I have mixed feelings on this. I've had great food one day and mediocre greasy food the next. One day my service was outstanding and another I had to flag down multiple people just to get my check after not getting the food I had ordered (we waited over an hour and got served two nachos, had only ordered one plus other food that never showed). The drinks are always good. The nachos were yummy. On another trip, The burger and the BBQ Mac was great. On yet another, The buffalo chicken wrap was dry and overcooked. I did get served a burger on another trip that had a piece of paper in it, I'm assuming from the cheese? I tried. I tried to like this place, but I don't see myself going back.
Ashley our server was great, checked on us several times, she was so friendly, will ask for her in the future. Both my husband and I ordered an appetizers for dinner and had plenty to eat. I had the chicken tequilas, so yummy. My husband had the Sriracha shrimp and we had a side of garlic fries. The menu is so unique we could go several times without repeating our order. UPDATE FEB24th, went for my husband's birthday. His new favorite is the pork end tips. He asked they be sauced with BBQ sauce and they were perfect. I had the chicken taquitos. Our server, Lisa, is fantastic. We have always had great service from everyone here. They have had to shorten their hours and close on Sunday and Mondays so continue to be a customer so they can return to normal hours. UPDATE MAY 6TH Still great food. We went tonight and split the 4 piece fish and chips. Plenty of food for each of us. Service is always goid. UPDATE JULY 6TH We went a few days ago, our server, Sara, was fantastic, so bubbly, friendly and quite helpful. Will definitely ask for her again. I had fish and chips, my husband tried the BKT+A sandwich and loved it
Went here tonight for the first time and it was such a great time. Our server was Lisa and she was absolutely amazing. Her energy was top tier and she is such a vibe! I told her it was my first time and she helped me pick on an amazing drink option along with one of the best french dips I've ever had. The whole staff here was so friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and not to mention the music was nice. I feel so bad that I waited so long to finally give this place a try but I will for sure be back to see Lisa.

Went here for an early lunch, and fortunately we were lucky enough to beat the crowd. They offer a wide variety of burgers and Adult beverages. Prices are decent and the food was amazing.Overall a simple spot to grab a quick bite. They have multiple locations here across Washingotn for everyone to enjoy.
Wife had always wanted to try this establishment and thank goodness we did the drinks were great we went during happy hour just lucky on that one long Island was 5 her large drink was 5 the food was out relatively quickly and it was beyond fresh ! Every single bite took your mouth on an adventure I'd highly recommend and the service was beyond amazing!!! Wish I knew my hosts name bad with names but I ordered the mushroom burger and he suggested some caramelized onions on top for that crisp crunch and some au jus and I don't know if it was the great beer good environment or just everything as one but I for once have no negatives or cons the food was perfect ! Even the appetizers were super fresh !! 10/10 thank yall for an amazing experience Will be back !!
Amazing! Best quality of food we've had in a long time! Awesome atmosphere and drinks are awesome especially happy hour! Will definitely be coming back! Oh and the mozzarella sticks are made fresh everyday! Once they are gone they are gone and giving it a 5/5 experience!
We had the best experience for the first time at this restaurant. Our waitress, Kailey was the best, so much fun with her contagious personality. Well definitely come back again for the food and drinks.
Went the other day and was greeted with a huge smiley face! Our server was named Kailey. She was the sweetest server, she was honest and made my visit super fun and exciting. I definitely recommend her as a server!! Definitely makes me want to come back again just to receive service from her!
Word of advice, skip this place. Went there today and we were a party of five. We realize there is a pandemic and there are issues everywhere. However, there is no excuse for the rude behavior of the manager, Heather.We originally wanted mozzarella sticks but they were out so we got the cheese curds instead. The cheese curds that were brought to our table were over cooked and the majority of the curds were only breading and the cheese was gone. We sent them back and didn’t want a replacement.Next was my order, my Tempura Shrimp was luke warm and not crispy and the side of tater tots looked as though they had been redeep fried and we’re super greasy. We send both back and asked for fresh. When my replacement shrimp arrived at the table by the manager, Heather, she loudly and rudely stated, we are wasting more money on remaking your order than we are making so we aren’t remaking the tater tots. She further stated that they are low on staff and are closed a few days. Mind you she was loud! Her attitude and rudeness is unnecessary. If she is the manager and she doesn’t have any quality control measures in place there is no hope for this place.We love coming to Hops n’ Drops but they missed the mark and we will never return.Then to top it all off we were charged for four sodas when our table only ordered three. However just so we didn’t have to be berated and treated poorly again we just paid it.
