Good tastes like what I grew up with. Authentic Korean cooking. There are only two ladies running the front of house so peak hours get very busy. You’ll have to have some patience but they try very hard to seat and serve as quick as possible. Great place!

Ho Soon Yi is the perfect fix for your authentic Korean cuisine craving. I love getting the seafood pancake, bibimbap, and trying a different soup each time, like the brisket soup. You can’t go wrong with any of their bulgogi, menu items for that matter if you know you like that meal. Try them out! Very sweet and kind staff too. We mainly get take out but it’s a nice establishment to dine in as well. They do stay pretty busy so you might have to wait!P.S. Ho Soon Yi shares a parking lot with Ttown Cafe which I will review later - and you can get a lovely shaved ice cream dessert right after your meal here. It’s the perfect combo!

Had really great soup here! The kimchi, tofu, and pork soup was way better than I had anticipated. It came boiling hot - literally bubbling like a cauldron of red, tofu-y goodness. The waitress cracked an egg into the concoction, which cooked it and gave the soup an amazing creaminess. The soup came with a side of rice, and I slowly ladled out bites over the rice, as much to cool them as to enjoy the flavors together. It was a wonderful lunchtime meal for a casual day.

One of the best places to get really good tofu soup, stews, and Korean pancakes. Their pancakes are just perfect- crunchy, crispy, and full of flavor! The soft tofu soup is just melt in your mouth good, and their other stews and soups are always made with love. The ladies who do service here are always so friendly and quick. Don’t forgot to ask for purple rice and their barley tea. It just makes everything that much better, especially during the rainy weather of Washington. Make sure to eat here when you can.

I am sharing from my personal experience and just want to say that this review is based on coming during a really busy time. It took a long time for someone to get our order, it took a really long time to get our food. My son was ignored when he asked for juice--he wasn't given utensils either (basically it felt like because he was a child, he didn't need anything??). We had to ask for water, and again, my son didn't get one (he doesn't need to drink?). The two stars because the food was really good--it just took so long to get it I don't think it was worth the wait for us. It would have been three starts if I felt like my child wasn't being ignored. My advice, avoid going here Friday night, and don't bring your small children. If you have time and don't have a problem waiting for a meal, this place will be great for you! We learned our lesson and if we crave Korean food, will just do takeout.

Great experience, the food is authentic

Everything was DELICIOUS! My favorite dishes are the bulgogi and short ribs. I also really love the budae jjigae.Food - 4/5Service - 5/5 every time I go they’re very attentive & super nice & I almost never have to wait long for my food.

I went to eat at this restaurant for lunch yesterday and the food was amazing! I had the beef tofu soup. The banchan were delicious, the rice was on point, and the soup was so good. I can't wait to go back and try something new.

Had a course near by and googled best spots for Korean food and this place popped up. SO bomb! And I was happy to walk in and see everyone was Asian as to me that’s a good sign that the food it’s legit (I apply this to any type of authentic food I go to find To be clear).I got the Tofu Bibimpap to go, came back bc the rice was crisp from the hot stone and the lady let me know they don’t do hot stone for to go orders. I told her i would sit then, but she said she’d just bring me it in the hot stone and I can package it up myself. So kind! And I’m thankful because the crispy rice is my favorite part! The meal was great!

Always friendly I recommend food 삼계탕 and 가자미 Samgyetang and flounder fish.
