Stopped by Erawan and the auntie who runs the restaurant with her husband are so sweet! We can't do gluten and they worked around and made substitutions that were incredibly delicious. Food was made to order. We got a pad Thai, papaya salad, mango fried rice (woah!) and a pad see ew (not pictured because we demolished it on the drive home).Food was delicious. Word of caution: their scale is on the spicier side! We're normally a 2 but the 2 felt more like a 4. Still delicious and it forced us to pace ourselves ?Will definitely swing by Erawan again the next time I'm rolling through Lakewood. The hospitality there is unmatched, the husband/bartender/host (sorry I didn't catch your name!) made sure we were comfortable while we waited.P.s. cilantro browned and wilted from the heat on the drive home but it was fresh and vibrant, promise!
The food is always fresh and well made with the perfect amount of spice and seasonings. The service is very personal and always willing to explain what certain things are if you are unsure. The drinks are excellent. We just wish we lived closer cause it will be our go to place every time.
My goodness we moved here about 8 months ago and have tried a ton of different restaurants, but none of them were any where near the burst of flavor this little shop gives you. 100% MUST TRY. One of the best thai foods I've ever had.
My number one complaint is that I discovered this charming little hole-in-the-wall within a week of moving out of state. After craving some Thai, a quick Google review pulled up this gem. I drove over to order take-out, and was immediately pleased to see that their latest health & sanitation inspection was rated as “Great ?”. I was greeted by a warm, family-style atmosphere with many smiles and laughs. Despite there being about seven orders of pad Thai in front of mine (non-spicy chicken pad Thai and pork egg rolls), it was obvious that the chef was working hard to cook each item to order so that each item could be met for its desired protein content and spice level. I walked out with massive portions (literally enough for three people). Would definitely go again and will pass along to my friends & coworkers!
Great service and amazing food. Stopped in after a long day for a drink and dinner and was very happy with the choice. Had the sweet and sour red snapper and was definitely impressed. 10/10.i will definitely be back.
I think I was expecting more after reading the raving reviews. If 3.5 stars was an option I would give as It wasn't bad, but the pad thai was not very flavorful at all. The portions were huge though and I got an excellent deal (buy 1 get 1 free) on Uber so that kind of made up for it. Maybe some other dishes would be better but I found my noodles overall disappointing
The food here is delicious. Some of the best Thai I've had. Plus, the containers they use for takeout are durable and reusable; we have a cabinet full of them.
I have been here a few times and the food is always great. HOWEVER…we had a reservation they weren’t tracking so there was only one person. She did her best and called some people in to help. An hour later they showed up. The old man was so intensely rude to the cook to the point that all of us felt uncomfortable and to be honest I felt that it was demeaning and abusive. Not ok at all. He wasn’t even really doing anything while she did all the work. He also wasn’t wearing a mask.
Small place with a nice owners and AMAZING food! Portions are almost as big as the flavor! Take a chance and spice it up, you won't regret it. Sorry no pictures this time, it went down way too quick.
Literally used to come here all the time. Moved across the bridge and took my girlfriend here for valentines day. Perfect little hole in the wall no one here just her and i and the food which was fantastic as usual. Try the curry its booomb. Everythings so fresh! Love love love erawans!!-chloe&chris
