the chicken was good. hot crispy spicy the way we like it.
Food is great 5/5, BUT having them not use any digital communication to let us know they are closed is lazy and ridiculous. Had to get chicken from them because I lost a bet, ordered through Door Dash, they took my order and money, when the driver tried picking up the food the place is closed indefinitely.Do not want to sound like a Ken, but on come on! 2022 and they do not know how to communicate with anything else than a paper sign in the door?! Thank you for wasting my time because you can not communicate like a professional adult
First time ordering here. The line was long to wait in. The staff was nice and friendly. Got home to eat the chicken was hot and fresh (crispy!!! , little greasy, and had no seasoning) we had gotten the regular. Mashed potatoes were great! Originally wanted Mac and cheese for the kids and they didn’t have any so we chose French fries ( the were mushy and soggy). The biscuits didn’t seem fresh nor warm (not for sure if that’s normal… they were kinda hard), and had ordered apple pies but never got them. Tried calling the store and it just rang and no one ever picked up. (Didn’t want to waste the gas to go back to get them or refunded).
It was hot, good seasoning and good customer service at the window.But....The food was horrible. The chicken tenders tasted like fake cheap chicken bi-product. The bread was a bummer and even the ranch dressing tasted off.If they upgraded their chicken supplier to better quality. They'd be a hit.
Parked, started walking up to the door and it is only drive-thru. Got back into the vehicle so I can go through drive-through and saw a utility truck coming in. I wanted to get my order in before them and I totally missed the order speaker. Left defeated and hungry.Lol
My first time trying church chicken and I threw up everything I ate. I was so upset and digusted idk mann it just didn't sit right in my stomach, I should of gotten kfc that's literally right next to it smh
This is a privately owned church's chicken there is really no African American people that work there and I'm sorry to say that chicken just doesn't taste as good it's kind of dry so I so I try to go to a black own churches where the food just has better flavor and the chickens not dry.
We used to eat at churches at least twice a month. Since I was buying for my family . I usually use the coupons that are available on their website. But I've noticed in the past month, that the same family meal, that I have been buying, went from $18.99 to $29.99. That's ridiculous!!! for no reason other than the fact that they're just completely fleesing us as customers. And pirate pricing us out of a fair price for their food! I don't mind paying an increase to reflect operating costs going up, but to raise the price 50% is absolutely wrong, and I will not patronize this establishment any longer.
Undercover Boss needs to eat at this location.Something wrong with the receipe.I wonder how old the chicken is before they cook it.The biscuit also pretty hardNow the mashed potatoes and gravy were pretty good, but then again I didn't travel 5 miles outta my way to a churches that has a great reputation for fried chicken.
Was our go to for chicken tenders and white gravy when we still lived in San Antonio. Was so happy to find out that Churches was here but was disappointed that they don't have white gravy!! Here we are 14 years later and Churches is still our go to for tenders.Everything went well.
