Absolutely would go here again, the family loved the food. You get good quality from this restaurant, and the food is great. Would recommend this place to others . It's so hard to find a good place that actually delivers on good food quality. Most definitely a good find for the family.
We had the mulitas and the burrito, both were flavorful and delicious! Pickles, onion and cilantro, and limes were in a serve yourself bar, but had to ask for salsa. Interior was clean and inviting, several tables occupied and lots of good looking food everywhere. I'm definitely adding this place to my regular spots.
SO GOOD pics don’t do it justice lol this is the best birria I’ve had ❤️?❤️? ? ? ?
I've been wanting to check out this place since it was a suggestion from a friend. I have to say he was right about the great flavor the Birria tacos have and the amount of food you get for the price. Being my first time, I had to wait for my order quite a bit. (I suggest order ahead of time by phone maybe?) They were super busy but once the lady who took my order realized I had waited longer than usual, she apologized and offered me something extra to come with my order. I felt they were friendly and will be back for more birria tacos.
I've been seeing this place in a Facebook group called grub and chill, the pictures look so amazing that we drove 100 miles to give it a try and we were absolutely not disappointed! Some of the best tacos you are going to find in Washington state. Food is absolutely amazing and we will definitely come back up for more! The carne asada cheese taco with consume is the best thing ever!
We came here because we were in town for an appointment. I've been wanting to come here for the the last year and a half. The odd shaped eatery was clean and in somewhat disrepair or should I say, as in Tijuana. That is about it as far as "authenticity". I ordered , their birria and I must say the portion was awesome. The actual birria not so much. The color was brown and the meat although sitting in consomme, was dry to eat. I was hoping for a robust colorful red to brown color and full of flavor. I was not offered chopped cilantro, chopped onions, or fresh lime with it. I even asked for it and was denied without reason. The cheese taco were good. The chile was like that from a jar. Herdez is better. Prices are far too expensive for the experience. Employees walking back and forth cussing in Spanish to each other. The only thing that reminded me about Tijuana was the cashier wore a winter coat while working. Don't ask. If you know, you know. I spent 20 years living in TJ and this is not Birria of that land. No thank you.
Keto birria tacos for the win. Made with a cheese tortilla. So dang good.
The food is fine! I would give it a 6-10. The worst thing about this business is its boring, foul-mouthed and rude employees. When you call they leave you on hold and they even forget and you can hear the rudeness they say to each other. When you go they speak badly to you and they have lousy customer service. I'm supposed to be treated with respect where I'm going to pay for food service! With the same one that I am going to receive the service that I am paying.
Im super sad because this place used to be great. I would go here weekly, sometimes multiple times a week,, and everyone was so wonderful and the food was delicious, but not now. Now, the staff is less than friendly, the food is mediocre and the price is through the roof. I tried one last time but was sorely reminded that they have tanked.
Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would! No flavor at all, just grease!!! Every time I’ve gone here it’s nasty, and this is the last time I’m ever spending my money here. I hate to give bad reviews but I have to be honest and the food is just not good. Their Horchata is good but that’s about it. If you want the best Mexican food it’s definitely Tonala Mexican Restaurant in spanaway on mountain HWY!!!! Service is amazing, food is always fresh, and so flavorful!
