A frequent customer but today order kimchi fried rice and half&half chicken the portion amount served for price is not worth it. Not a fair portion size for the price. Fried rice is not even filled half of the container at 12.99 plus tax, took a spoon out half is gone. The chicken only 10pcs small size per flavor at 28.99plus tax. They need to serve consistent right portion because it’s a rip off. Some days serve right and some days not.Called manager and said that they have new employee will train better.
I am a regular customer at another BB.Q chicken. The boneless and regular fried chicken there is the best ever. Crispy Golden batter fresh and juicy chicken. The food at this location in Tacoma Washington is nothing like that. They don’t have the boneless and only about half the normal flavor options. The chicken we did get was not the “Best of Best Quality” we are accustomed to, it was overcooked and seemed slightly burnt. The chicken was stringy and dried out. I am sad that people here are getting a poor version of what we normally find to be the very best chicken.
This might be a hidden gem.... find it on yelp and decided to try it. So glad we did... the cheese balls are amazing think sweet yet savory in a way that's not overwhelming. The service was quick and everything was fresh and hot. Speaking of hot I went with the wings of fire and they did not disappoint. They were super tasty with just the right amount of crunch in the batter but they defeated me. The spice caught up to me. I suggest trying them but with friends. Now my girlfriend got the gangnam half chicken and that's something you need to experience in your life. This is by far our new favorite spot for Korean style fried chicken... or even fried chicken as a whole. But we are going to try the soup next time

Great spot to order some worthy Korean style fried chicken with other options on their menu. They serve a variety of local brew and Korean drinks.Right beside Shin-shin and H-mart, BBQ Chicken Pub will not disappoint. Prices vary due to supply and demand. Place is kept clean, and food is always made fresh. Overall a great hangout for friends, family, and co-workers.
I got the half Gangnam style chicken and kitchen fried rice. Grand total. $32 for two. I been to South Korean and had chicken, I was hoping for that same experience but didn't get it. Chicken was a dry and didn't have much flavor. Kimchi wasn't spicy how I thought it was going to be. Maybe next time.
It was our first time eating at the restaurant rather than ordering a takeout. We ordered half golden fried chicken, half galbi q chicken, and rose dukk-bokki with cheese. Every dish was very fresh and tasty. Although my favorite chicken on the menu so far is gangjeong chicken, their NEW menu, galbi q chicken had a pretty good flavor and would be good for people who do not enjoy spicy food.
This was my 1st time to this establishment and we were glad we did. The food was deliciously delicious. There were about 3 things that we weren’t satisfied with. My wife food came out at a reasonable time and mine wasn’t. My wife ate all her food and my dish still did not come out and she is a slow eater. Finally my food came out and it was room temperature but it was still delicious. The Jamaican wings I got were not fully covered with sauce and the pickled radish was not pickled at all. So we did not eat it. We were the 1st to arrive at this restaurant then 12 people came about 5 minutes later and the a party of 3 about 8 minutes later. With only 1 waitress.I know she did her best to satisfy everyone in the restaurant so I gave her a 20% tip even though my food came out super late and it was room temperature.
This is one of our new favorite places in Tacoma. The service is always excellent. The vibe feels more like a chain on the inside but don’t let it fool you. We always go for the cheese balls, cheeseling chicken, and honey garlic chicken. It won’t disappoint.
A must! I love fried chicken and beer. Great service and really good food ?
This place is great. It's part of a chain and there are two other locations that I know of in the area, one in Lynnwood and one in the U District. Those others are rated really poorly. This one deserves the five stars. I ordered the honey garlic and the spicy one, and both were excellent. I recommend this place whole heartedly. Come here if you want good Korean fried chicken. Next time I'm try the cheesy chicken, which is apparently pretty good..
