Very bland food the other day. The cashier was disinterested in us being there. I can actually say it was the worst Mexican restaurant experience I've ever had. Disappointing because we were very excited this place had recently reopened. We will stick to the pub food and coffee stand around the curve for good local food and beverages. Plenty of better Mexican restaurants a little farther away.
This is our new favorite Mexican food place. We miss the cuisine from Southern California so close to the border, and this place has our favorites from home. I highly recommend to anyone who knows good Mexican food.
Great food and reasonable prices for a restaurant. I ordered take out for a 3 item combo with 2 enchiladas, 1 burrito, rice, beans, and a bag of chips+salsa for $12.25. Grabbed a menu and there's plenty of meal items for $10 with rice and beans. More food than I could eat for dinner, thumbs up. Customer service wasn't fantastic but I don't care if the food is great and generous. Will definitely come back and support this local restaurant.
Do not waste your time coming here. Do not waste your money here. Just go somewhere else. Go to El Antojo or El Sabor they have better food and better people.
This is our local, hidden gem for great Mexican food at a fair price. All their dishes are made from scratch, including their tortilla chips. Great place to dine in or take out.
Too much sauce on burrito (rather have the extra sauce on the side). Vegetables in the burrito were too big (not bite size). Probably won't order that item in the future.
The food was delicious and the service was great! Very nice atmosphere.
Will not go again! Right when we got inside my husband asked where the bathroom was, the guy there said restrooms are for customers. We explained we were going to order but he needed to use bathroom. He would not let my husband use bathroom until we placed an order first. Not only that but he was so rude about it?
Nasty front employee, he's rude and he had the nerve to ask me to leave his restaurant. So I politely left and took my business elsewhere.And the food that my clients ordered from here was inedible, bland, cold, and dry. He ought to be lucky any one showed up in that shack. By the way thanks for refunding my 10.17 much appreciated.
I don't know how this place is still open or why it's rated as highly as it is. It doesn't deserve to be rated above 2 stars. Processed chicken on my quesadilla. Definitely not grilled or fresh. Salsa was showing signs of age. I wouldn't even touch my guac after I saw the condition of the other food I had ordered.
