Honestly, probably the worst teriyaki spot I ate at. I got a yakisoba and the APPETIZER kimchi, my total came to be $18 for two items. First of all the kimchi is only $3 and yakisoba is 7.95 how does that equal $18? Let me add that the noodles they used were SPAGHETTI noodles. Trash. Just trash. Never spending money here again
I love the place, The Food and the Staff. They're just lovely all around, Couldn't recommend them enough. If you have the chance to take out some food I say go for it and you won't be disappointed.
Had a good meal here a couple years ago. This time was not good. I had a Tempura plate. The batter was thick and flavorless. The two prawns were barely visible in all the batter. The piece of broccoli was mushy and there were lots of tempura russet potatoes. The brown rice was good. The salad dressing had a strange flavor. I would not recommend this dish. My friend ordered chicken stir fry and said it was good.
We ordered tempura, and it was absolutely awful. When my chicken katsu was brought out, we could help but laugh at how burnt it was. It was very burnt, and left a burnt taste in my mouth. We asked for our money back, and were told this is normal for their katsu. My total came out to $15.80 plus tip, and I was given back $14.17. As she took back the food, she took out the food we had spit out and closed the lid back up, as if it were to be reused. I would not recommend eating at this establishment unless you like burnt food.
Food wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't good. I paid cash on a takeout order and the lady didn't give me my change. It sounded like she uttered "cheap" under her breathe too expecting me to tip more than the .97 cents she didn't give back to me on a takeout order. We shouldn't be tipping on a takeout order anyway much less having our change basically taken as well. I definitely won't be going back here.
After leaving My CrossFit Lacey class (?????), I decided to stop by and try something from Toto’s. I’m new to the area (Military), but every Teriyaki place I’ve had here has been great. I walked in and proceeded to use the restroom before ordering and a lady came out yelling at me. She wouldn’t allow me to use the restroom stating it was only for customers. She seemed upset so I calmly told her that I was going to order. She told me to “Order First!” And then I could use the restroom. I haven’t experienced anything like this in a long time. I ended up leaving. I felt disrespected, and potentially even profiled.I wasn’t rude or disrespectful and there is no sign that said “no customer restroom or for customers only”..
Local business. Glad it's doing well.
I've been going here for 10 years and I won't stop coming back! The owners are the sweetest couple and they truly are a part of my growth as a person (including their food!) Fast delivery and great, quality food.
The food is good, but the lady at the cashier is RUDE. I avoid it, but I love their egg flower soup. The best around, so I put up with the lady being rude.
2 stars for the fast service. The food was just… weird. The bulgogi had a ton of black pepper on it and it was basically the only thing I could taste, the salad is made with miracle whip (gross) and my husband’s general tso’s chicken was basically just orange chicken. Also, he found a green bean and corn in his meal? There were no veggies as far as we knew coming with it. The tempura fried batter itself reminds me of an unseasoned elephant ear. The best tasting part was probably the rice. All in all won’t be back, there’s better places in Lacey.
