Such a cute place! We seated ourselves. Their menu is really extensive. So many seafood options. I had a fish and shrimp tacos, and wanted a lengua taco but they were out of lengua, so I chose adobada instead. Everything was fantastic. So yummy. I wanna come back and get the ceviche. Yum yum yum. We'll be back
A hidden secret in Lacey, we have a gem. I accidentally found this Mexican Restaurant, specializing in seafood, doing a Google search. Amazing La Mansión has been here for several years and now that I know about it I will be eating here on consistent basis. Today I had a Seafood Chimichanga and my wife had a Taco Salad. Everything was excellent, including the customer service. This is definitely a restaurant to remember as a positive place to go to.
Website states lunch is everyday but when I went to order I was told no only weekdays and laughed. Freaking rude won’t be going again hope your business does well with the attitude!
Coming from the food/ restaurant industry. We understand what it takes to run a restaurant. I say this to say: We give second chances. We dined here in November 2021, a party of six celebrating a milestone. I wasn't impressed with the service and my food. The waiter suggested a cocktail after I requested a not-too-sweet long Island. It was sickly sweet and when I eventually had his attention, he blew me off. The manager was helping out with our table and corrected my drink. Our bisque was lukewarm and tasteless. Salads desperately need an upgrade. My husband ordered the tomahawk, let's just say we've had better. Three others in our party ordered the ribeye and it was underseasoned and overdone. A few days ago we tried them again for another special occasion. Sadly, it was disappointing the second time. Tomahawk and ribeye were not seasoned and overcooked. They cook everything in some type of cheap butter. The sides was saturated in it and it makes you nauseous if you arent used to fatty foods. I don't know what the hype is. But to be located off the beaten path and less than posh neighborhood, dollar store steak knives, terrible service, and food that is an insult to the culinary profession, what is the deal here. Do your due diligence and buy snake river wagyu open a nice bottle of wine at home. Oh, plus do a deep dive into aged meats.
Wonderful experience we eat out a lot all over town. This is a tough time for business all around and although Ricardo’s isn’t immune to this hardship they stand out with quality of food, experience and customer service. Could improve with expansion of menu
Servicio pésimo y la comida fría y sin sabor! El personal no te arriman ni cucharas y uno les tiene que estar recordando que le lleven tortillas y la bebidas!
Fantastic food!! Very few Mexican restaurants offer the dishes La Mansion offers, such as Molletes con chorizo! They were delicious ? their chilaquiles are also amazing, Red salsa has a nice"kick".A hidden jewel in Lacey!
Food was authentic & full of flavor!
I ordered my filet medium- it was beyond rare. The other people at my table also had undercooked steaks and did not eat the middle. I took mine home to cook it another day. I picture a chef in the kitchen saying, “All zée meat is to be rare. Zee stupid customer knows nothing about how steak is to be served!” Beyond that, service was good, loved the veggies, dessert crumble was good but unexceptional. All in all, I would not return unless a business meeting required my attendance.
I had to ask what region their Mexican style was from ... Vera Cruz on the gulf. I love this style so much more than Jalisco!Fajitas came with cheese melted in! Like what?!? I’ve always wanted that. You can tell the freshness of the food and the passion in the process. Please come try, don’t let this hidden gem leave Oly/Lacey!
