3.5 stars, but I'll round up. I've never dined in, so my review is only relevant to takeout. The biggest downside of this restaurant is inconsistency. Sometimes the food is really great, sometimes it's a big letdown.The sushi bounces between amazing and generous with fillings, to portions that are no longer worth the price. My favorite is the fire roll; it isn't actually that spicy, but it's full of flavor. If you're not into spicy, I also love the hilltop roll. If you're into simplistic rolls, I've had good luck with the salmon roll.The teriyaki is more consistent and is always generous with the protein. I'd recommend getting the sauce on the side, because it's fairly salty.When they're on point, it's totally worth the price, so I'll continue to go back and take my chances.
Go to one the other locations! Chicken yakisoba. Called in for pick up and arrived fifteen minutes later. No record of me calling in but they remembered that I did eventually. When I finally got my food it was sub par. Maybe 5 pieces of chicken and the same amount of vegetables. The rest was noodles and rice. You’d think after forgetting an order entirely they would at least make it worth the wait.
A local favorite! Really nice customer service. Huge selections! Supports door dash and Uber eats, or old school route via calling in. Food is ready fast. They have all the sauces for those condiment lovers. Ask for chopsticks if you want them. No fortune cookies. Comes with salad, not steam veggies. They have bathrooms for customers only. Family running.The only reason why they get 4 and not 5 star, is because the place could get a good spring cleaning. You know when you want to open the door with your foot instead of your hand? Yeah.. that.
I worked here for 4 years. I made lots of great connections with regular customers, and loved my job. But the management was the worst. Multiple heath inspection failures. Unsafe food handling, no gloves, cross contamination. Along with that, the owner did not treat me or others like she appreciated or valued our hard work. Money had been stolen from me and under the table deals were dealt. And to top off my experience, I slipped and broke my arm on the job and the owner asked if I could finish my shift. Please do not eat here, the food isn’t even that great. This is not a local business I would support. Lastly, to all my old regulars, I miss you and really appreciated your support throughout the years.
Very rude owner!! I called to complain that they don’t allow DoorDash drivers, who do a service for them, to use the bathroom and yet we have to sit there forever waiting sometimes. She was all offended and cut me off every time I started to speak. Take your service to places more deserving!
Id give zero start if i could. Waited 20min for teriyaki and general tao to come out, another 20min for jja jja myun. As you can see in the pic, by the jja jja myun cane out all the other food were almost eaten. Worst part, the lady in purple pink hair threw our dish on the table. Owner came out and said nothing, gave us funny looks. Worst service ever
I went to try their sushi out and was not disappointed!! They have a very big menu with a lot of options. I'm definitely going to go back!!
I door dash and needed to use the rest room before picking up an order from here....They told me no because i wasnt a customer.I guess making money for them isnt good enough.I will never eat here.
Apparently, asking if a vegetable based dish is vegan as in doesn’t have fish sauce in it is grounds for the lady at the front counter to tell my girlfriend “you’ll have to go somewhere that serves vegans” is ridiculous, especially since we’ve eaten there before. That was it. That was the entire exchange.We will NEVER go here again and will tell everyone to do the same. That is absolutely no way to treat your customers, I’m annoyed by the fact that I’ve ever even recommended this joint if that’s how you guys decide to conduct your business. She just walked in the door and asked and that’s what she got treated like, don’t be next.
Bento Box! Plus, unlike the other local teriyaki spots, it's affordable and they include sushi with the order. The soup is excellent and so hot on takeout, you can't even hold it. They are fast, delicious and offer a good value!
