I'm not super familiar with Del Taco but my wife is and was. She got me to pull in there to get a little late night snack. Pleasantly surprised at how fresh everything was. Portion sizes. Price. Overall tonality and attitude of present employee. I can be a real cynical jerk when it comes to food but fast food taco place? And I couldn't find anything wrong with anything? I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone... I only spent like five bucks.... every other place that sells food has no excuse anymore.
Y'all need to change out your fryer oil more often. My wife ordered the nachos and she said all the chips tasted like walnut shells with an aftertaste of bitterness. I thought she was exaggerating until I tried them myself. I say this not as a customer but as a fellow food service person who has experience with similar equipment.This is a three star review because the food that wasn't made in the fryer was bangin.To the customers that see this: These people make very good food. Someone forgot to change the fryer oil and that made the chips on our nachos taste bad. Please don't let it deter you from buying their excellent food!Solution: Change fryer oil more frequently.P.S. Y'all need to make your shrimp burritos available year round!
I am not a fan of Del Taco. I wanted to try this place out instead of my usual Taco Time location and I was very disappointed in the taste of my burrito, the size (when compared to Taco Time) and the longer than expected wait (there were no cars ahead of us).compared to Taco Bell, Del Taco is slightly better. But for me, I will stick to Taco Time and the Taco Truck on the Westside!
First off, this is my favorite fast food restaurant. I don't go anywhere else. I love my Del taco since high-school. That being said, my order today around 4 pm was a bit of a disaster. The tostada was gross, no sauce, really weird funky cheese. I get home and give my husband his food, chicken roll ups we're not prepared properly unmelted funky cheese really ruined the day. My fish tacos were missing limes, the queso cheese cup was less than half filled. Managers please review and retrain your employees. They didn't do their job on my order. HOWEVER. the gentlemen who took my order was pretty awesome, great personality. No issues there.
Not only did I receive the wrong items I also got a surprise in my breakfast. Nothing better than finding a long black hair in your food. Then be told they don't believe you even though my hair is brown. No manager on duty and said we could call corporate. Not coming back to this ever again and I'll be sure to warn everyone.
Wish we had Del Taco on the east coast. As a vegetarian I love their Beyond tacos and burritos. It's chopped and seasoned well. Looks just like taco meat as well. Their menu has something for everyone and love the fries and taco combo.
I like it there, good prices, kind staff but it took 35 minutes for my small 2 item order to be ready when we ordered inside. Little bit busy but not really on a Thursday night. Maybe not organized or short staff.
This place has amazing service and high quality fast food. The guy who has helped me the past couple times has been super kind and checked the order twice to make sure it's correct. 5 stars for me
The quality control here is very bad. Unless you like bolts in your burrito I would stay far from here you guys could have caused serious injury to my daughter. I will be contacting the manager to this establishment.
Ordered the Queso Nachos and this is how they came, very disappointed. Ordered a large meal as well and they charged me for one but gave me a medium. Not worth the price I paid for all my food, very disappointed.
