The portions are good size here, we split an order of chicken and an order of rice cakes among 3 people and had a little bit left over.The chicken was good, but nothing special.The spicy rice cakes were IMO a bit better, but missing the key element of being crispy on the outside. The flavors of the dish were good, but the texture has room to grow.Ambiance is ultra casual, order at the counter and eat at a seat type of place. Good for a quick workday lunch or weeknight dinner.
Everything we ordered was excellent, but the fried chicken was bussing. Ordered the half and half with level 5 spice and it delivers! Crunchy, juicy, sweet, and spicy all at once and it is soooo good. The salty/sour punch of the pickled radish that's served with it was a nice counterpart.That corn cheese is a must try as well and the fries and fried dumplings are a great way to start off the meal.
Plain wings and onion wings for this trip. Wings were hot (heat hot) and crunchy and tasty. I would like a little less breading but still, they were robust and hearty. Next time I'll try an option with flavors. Onion rings were tender, crunchy and good. The batter/breading stuck to them throughout each bit. Many other menu options look tasty.
This is the seafood pancake I got, I think it’s better to hire a quality check. The fried chicken is ok. But the pancake is the worst I have ever eaten.
I've never been more disappointed in my life... The breading for the original chicken is just.. wrong. I swear it's tempura batter. When it gets cold, it's not even crispy. They didn't even salt it.Forget about the yangnyum chicken. It's spicy, sure. It doesn't taste like anything else though. The texture is terrible too, it's way too gummy.Talk about being let down by the rating ?
Delicious chicken, super chill atmosphere! One of my new favorite Korean Fried Chicken places. And their Japchae glass noodle is an amazing dish alongside any chicken order.
Bad (warm) radish. Original chicken is not korean, it is more like bad tempura. It wasn't even salted, it's not original it's plain breading. it is bland, definitely not twice fried. sauce lacks flavor, just spicy nothing else.
Delicious juicy and crunchy chicken. Portions are generous. We also got the Korean seafood pancake (not pictured) and it was huge! Highly recommend trying it if you like seafood.
We ate Yeon’s and the food was spectacular. We ordered the hybrid platter of original Korean fried chicken (1star spice level) and original chicken. The chicken was tender, flavorful and fried to perfection the sauce was not over powering. The chicken fried rice was also excellent. A big surprise was the chicken gizzard. These bit size morsels were heavenly and paired with a mayo sriracha sauce.Highly recommended. Support your local family owned business.
Great portion! I ordered a chicken파닭 and it had good amount for me and my friend to share, and we ordered a seafood cream udon as well!! Both were awesome! I am so excited for this korean chicken place with trendy flavors ? definitely coming back for more!!
