Beware there is a 18% compulsory gratuity added to the bill along with excessive persuasion to order more.I am not at all against gratuity, but enforcing it is just plain wrong when there is zero ambiance and sub par service.Coming to food, good presentation pic attached for pani puri, taste is good, but nothing great that I would come back here for.

Everything is amazing! Food was a delight to taste and to look at. Decor is modern and welcoming. The person waiting on us was just the right amount of attentive. We ordered a huge number of items and they sensibly sent them out a little at a time. I didn't think to ask, but it was brilliant. The experience was amazing. I'll be back soon for another taste a fried green bananas and mashed potato sliders!

I used to love visiting Guilt Trip. Their food always tasted so good. I recently went there again after they opened in Kirkland and from the time we arrived we didn’t like it - once we arrived, they told us our table would be ready in a minute and asked us to wait outside and that they would let us know once the table was ready (we had a reservation). No one ever came out to inform us and only after we enquired did they mention that the table was ready. Next, we ordered items that we have had multiple times in the past and not one of the dishes tasted good. The vada pav was the only decent tasting dish. The paneer burger that I got was super dry and they literally just added a dry paneer Pati, kale and onions - I couldn’t even have 2 bites of it. The wontons were super thick and felt like we were eating just over cooked dough. The cocktails were fine! For the first time, I felt like I overpaid for the food. Don’t think I will return.

Liked the food, and loved the service even more! We arrived a few minutes before restaurant closing hours, and the staff were welcoming and gave us time to place our orders. The chole bhature is cheesy deliciousness, highly recommend! The paneer burger was average, and the fries were not seasoned enough. So don’t order that lol.Overall nice Indian food!

TL:DR - Overpriced and mediocre fusion with a mandatory tip and chaotic service. The food is okay, it's not special, it's not groundbreaking, it's just okay. The prices are a little high in comparison to the competition and the service is slow or wrong. After what can be described as underwhelming with a side of chic decor you are charged a mandatory tip and they only take exact change to ensure this. Literally go to any other place with butter chicken within a five mile radius.

The best Contemporary Indian Restaurant on the Eastside. The new location has great new additions & perfect flavors. I love this place more & more with each visit. The Tacos are out of the, the chicken curry bowl is very beautiful presented & heavenly. An Indian restaurant with good ambiance, out of the world food & great innovative drinks & also various selection of chai. It’s a place if you go once you are addicted to it forever.

I'm usually wary of Indian fusion restaurants that can end up being gimmicky with sub par food at above par prices. Not so with Guilt Trip.We were primarily interested in the shareable 'chaat' style options and ordered a few for the table. The butter chicken chaat was the star of the show with some great butter chicken flavor. Hara bara kebab was also excellent and a great vegetarian option (Guilt Trip has loads of great vegetarian options!). The pani puri was a bit on the pricey side for 6 puris and was the only underwhelming item.Onto entrees, my table shared the bhatura remix. It was non-greasy and incredibly fresh. The chole was well seasoned and flavorful. Completely worth the calories, and depending on how hungry you are, this dish could easily be split between two.We finished with butterscotch kheer which was a great twist on the classic and came with a cute presentation. The perfect refreshing end to our meal.Overall, they put a creative spin on much loved classics, in an updated setting with incredibly kind and attentive staff. I will absolutely be back soon - Guilt Trip is worth the trip!

Went there during covid to dine in. They have limited tables available and go with strict reservations.on the flip side, they follow covid related precautions really well and through that I can trust that food here will follow good health code.Overall the food was really good and we enjoyed the concept. Do not expect traditional food as they have added their own twist to traditional dishes. I loved the vada pav, fries and malpua. Bhature in chole bhature were unconventional with cheese in between but tasted good nevertheless. Imli wings were the low-light but still nice tasting. They had too much imli(tamarind) and the chicken was not great either. Will definitely recommend.

Nice place to get fusion Indian food. Their cheesy chhole bhature are a must try! They also have amazing spread of desserts.

I’m big big fan of their malpua and ice cream! ❤️
